This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Listed as a 1948 and described as a CJ-2A, this seems closer to a CJ-3A.

“I have an old Willys flat fender jeep available for sale. This is not a true military jeep, just a CJ2A it was done up to look like one. It does run and drive but it will need a throw out bearing and new brakes. I purchased it from an estate, the gentleman who built this put a lot of time and love into it. No, the machine gun is not real. It does come with all the accoutrements pictured though.  Bill of sale only but I can assist you with obtaining a title”

“Hazzard Fabworx of Spokane has reworked the suspension, power steering, changed out all the fluids, battery, serviced the diffs/transmission/transfer case/overdrive, swapped in disc brakes all around (‘94 Geo Tracker) and installed lap seat belts. It has an “odd fire” V6 motor, Dana 30 front/Dana 44 rear both with 4.27 gears, T90 3-speed transmission, Dana 18 transfer case and a Warn overdrive. I will say the original overdrive was a Warn but the owner before me had it rebuilt by Herm The Overdrive Guy in Washington, so it’s physically a Husky case now. It also has a Warn 4500 lb winch mounted on the front. The odometer reads 30k and change. The thing still runs and drives great. It doesn’t burn oil and still has the original VIN plate. The story I got when I bought it was that it was a forestry service jeep in Oregon, hence the decals”

“I have owned this for three years, and basically the only time I touched it is to move it from the garage to the shed. I am selling it to buy a first motorcycle, so if you have any trades, feel free to shoot me an offer. The engine, transmission, and transfer case are out of it, but I have them all. The engine was supposed to have been gone through by the previous owner, but I have never cracked it open to check. The body is mostly straight, except for the sizeable dent in the rear left corner, and a small rust spot on the passenger side. $1500 o.b.o. Text or call with any questions. I would like it gone by Wednesday, but it’s not the end of the world if it isn’t.”

“Street, strip or sand, this 1952 Willys is ready to play! While the clean title, which I have in hand, says it’s a 1952 Willys, I believe only the chassis, which has been boxed, is original. Blueprinted Aluminum GM V8 406ci/7.0l block. Aluminum Dart heads. That’s hooked up to a cutch-Turbo 400 transmission with scatter shield controlled B&M Pro Ratchet automatic shifter attached to a 3/4 ton 205 transfer case. Custom built heavy duty drive shafts to professionally built 35 spline axels. Dana 60 with locker and 5.08 gears in rear and Dana 44 with 4.88 gears in front. Street tires are brand new. Sand tires and wheels are also new. Extra set of wheels included if you want to mount slicks!
The rig is up and running/stopping but should be gone through before pushing it hard. It was parked for several years in an Arizona garage. Was plated in CA. Has break lights, headlights, turn signals. It’s an estate sale. Really cool, but not my jam. Trailer with tire rack available.”
