The rear compartment is covered in diamond plating, so it’s a little hard to verifty the no rust claim.

Lots of great upgrades on this CJ-3A. It kind of has that classic 80s build. It looks like there are two different paint colors on the body.
“350 4 Bolt Main, Muncie 4-Speed w/Overdrive, 44’s Front & Rear, Detroit Lockers, Floating Axles in Rear, Locking Hubs Front & Rear, Tilt Wheel, Custom Gas Tank, 11″ Brakes with Power Booster, Holly Injection. Post Office Frame Box End, Nothing Original on Jeep.”
“1949 Wyllis Jeep CJ3A, flat head 4cyl…this jeep runs and drives just needs some tlc. 2500.00( have been told it is worth more). ”
It appears this is either a M-38 body or a replacement body. For $300 it looks like it has a variety of parts, including an almost full cage.
“it’s got a great body on it, very straight. I don’t have the title for it, but it’s a great jeep for parts or whatever you wanna do with it.”
This looks like it’s been nicely restored.
“UP FOR AUCTION IS A 1952 WILLYS CJ3A JEEP SERIAL # 452GB134066. LOOKS MILITARY BUT ISN’T.ORIGINAL 6 VOLT SYSTEM.L134 MOTOR.

LOTS OF OTHER ITEMS REPLACED TO MANY TO LIST. RECEIPTS AVAILABLE. REBUILT T90 TRANSMISSION AND T18 TRANSFER CASE ….”
I don’t see any major issues with the body. I wonder if it will take much to get it running.
“350 chevy motor, not running, good body, $1000 or trade, what do you have … I am posting for my dad. The best way to get answers to your questions is to call the following number… 931-698-1732 cell. Also, I don’t have any more pics right now. (can get some more this week) ”
Note the stainless steel windshield.
“1951 Willys Jeep CJ3A, Pinto 2000 (100hp) motor, T-18 truck four speed transmission (granny gear), model 18 transfer case, 4:88 gears with locking diffs. (modle 27 front and 44 in rear) with Warn hubs, power steering, stainless steel windshield, full roll cage, Recaro style seats, “Jackman” white spoked rims. No papers, sold as is or for parts. $1600.”
Given the windshield appears in good shape, I’d say this is a good price for this parts jeep.
‘rebuilt carb, new head gasket, needs distributer and should run. the tub is pretty rusty but other than that it is pretty decent for use off road or parts. Might consider partial trade for a stick welder, oxy-fuel torch or other welding equipment. “
UPDATE: The price had dropped to $2500. It includes an OD. **STATUS UNKNOWN”
1952 Willys CJ3A. Flat Head 4 Cyl. 3 Spd Manual Transmission with Overdrive. In great shape, runs good. Needs voltage regulator. Runs off 12v generator system. “
Despite what the seller writes, it looks like there’s more than a little rust on this body. But, if the rust isn’t too bad, then this might be a decent price.
“I am selling a 1950 Willys CJ3 for my father. He bought it and did a little work to it but doesnt have the time to restore it(or sell it). It has a clear KY title. The jeep is located in Stearns, Ky, 42647. The Good: runs, drives, brakes work(enough anyway), new alternator, new battery, replaced radiator, new exhaust from the manifold back, tow bar, extra carburator, very little rust(for a 59 year old jeep). The Bad: carburator floods sometimes when you first start it(once its going it goes though), brakes need work(but they will stop you). The Ugly: windshield cracked, paint very rough, hood patched(somebody had a scoop on it), mismatched seats. I am asking $1400.00 O.B.O. “
