About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
The jeep is mostly disassembled, but there is a pic of the chassis with the drive train and steering wheel. Not sure how much value is here, but there appears to be some. It looks like it has a PTO as well.
“Willys 1951 CJ3A Jeep Nice Original Jeep in Running Condition complete with Title and current Non-Op. The Jeep runs well and the lights work as well as the locking hubs. Upgraded to 11″ brakes & brakes pull to the left Note: I believe this was a Navy base vehicle. Minimal rust & the Data Plates are still there. Low ball offers will be ignored.”
“I Bought this last year, It is a CJ3A Flat Fender. I have not done a thing to it since I got it other than I bought new seats for it that will come with it but not installed. It is just taking up space.
Runs good, Breaks need a little work but did work with fluid. It was covered with Rhino Liner as a paint job but looks ok, I was thinking of painting it Green and putting MASH 4077 on it as it is the right year for that. Needs the alternator re aligned but it does work. Has the original back seat frame.”
“It’s time to sell my 1948 Willy’s CJ2a Jeep. Price is $14,000. Facebook won’t allow my price. I’ve owned this Jeep for about 4 years and have had a great time with it. It’s now time for someone else to enjoy.
I’ve driven this Jeep around many back roads of New Jersey sometimes putting upwards of about 150 to 200 miles on it in a weekend. It always starts and runs like a champ. Got into it in the middle of May after its long winters nap and after a couple of pumps on the accelerator pedal and a few seconds cranking the engine it sprang to life! It was restored when I purchased it but the former seller left it outside under a cover for about a year. Continue reading →
