About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have for a 1952 willys. This has lockers power brakes power steering. Needs an engine rebuild its locked up. Could make a badass jeep toy or rat rod”
(11/26/2020) Has axle, brake and steering updates.

A stock, solid looking CJ-3A. Electrical has been updated to 12 volt.
“This little jeep has been great for my family over the years. We have primarily used it around our property, collecting firewood and doing other chores for the last decade. I purchased this vehicle from the original owner who bought it from a dealer in Glenwood Springs, CO. This is an original Colorado vehicle that runs and drives good. It can be used “as is” around your property or is a great start for a restoration project.
We have recently moved to town out of the mountains. As much as we want to keep this little jeep, we have limited storage and no longer have a use for it. We are asking $4,800.00. Clean, clear title in hand. Please email, text or call James with any questions or schedule a time to see it.”
(09/08/2020) Nice looking 3A. Lacks a hood gutter, but that’s a trivial detail.
“Fully restored and family owned since 1960. Painted Luzon red with black canvas top (military style folding top) & interior. Converted to 12V electrics with dual turn signals and brake lamps. Original engine, transmission, and transfer case/running gear. Never wrecked. New body (original windshield frame & grille), wheels, tires (military NDT). Overdrive transmission, electric wipers and period correct military hemp tow rope. New front axle shafts. 200 miles since restoration. No expense spared in restoration, every nut/bolt/seal etc replaced.”
“1951 Jeep CJ3A · Other_body_style · Driven 123,456 miles
Details in the photos. Well built Jeep. I bought it a little while ago from the builder with the intention of keeping it but I found the expedition build platform I want so a couple toys need to go.
It will track down the highway at 65mph no problem, starts every time and hasn’t given me any issues. Wheelbase it stretched about 6” I’d guess but I haven’t put a tape on it. Top in in good shape but one door window has a 6” tear.
I have new front shock mounts ready to be welded on and Ruff-Stuff 3/8 diff covers for both axles with Lube Locker gaskets un-installed.
$6000 OBO”
(10/03/2020) Looks in reasonable shape. Has a PTO powered Ramsey winch.
“1952 Willy’s Overland Jeep CJ3A – Unmodified, stock, running, driving, one family since new. Rare factory PTO Ramsey winch. Runs great. It is an unrestored driver. Definitely gets thumbs up all over town but is not perfect. We’ve had our fun and it’s time for something different.”
(10/28/2020) “1942 Jeep mb wheeler no engine or trans. Got it but decided not enough time in my schedule. Clear title from prior owner. Needs lots of work but a good base!”
Colin has been able to supply additional info in the comments.
“1957 Willys Jeep with a rebuilt 3.8 ltr Buick motor and automatic transmission. This is a titled new build with no miles on it and will need some work to finish. Every part on this vehicle is brand new.”
