About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“For sale or trade. Looking for an enclosed trailer or car hauler, must be 8.5 wide by at least 18″. Willys has lots of new parts, new paint, tires, seats etc. Runs and drives good, if you have any questions please call or pm me [hidden information]. Have free and clear title”
“Willys CJ2a. Believe it’s a 1950 but not a 100%. No motor, trans, transfercase or driveshafts. It’s rough but original. No title or VIN tags. Want it gone. $500 OBO”
“Almost all original. From West Colorado, very minimal rust for 70 years old.
It ran when I bought it, and it ran a few months ago, before I changed the carburetor with the correct aftermarket carb from Kaiser Willys. I can’t get it to start, I think the starter is bad.
It’s not road ready, it’s a project still, but it’s not far away, depending how original you want to keep it.
A LOT has been done to this Jeep, thousands of dollars spent. My loss, your gain, selling it, because planning a big move.
What’s not original:
Carburetor
Alternator (converted to 12 volts)
Seat frames (fabricated professionally)
The body’s floor (replaced with steel plate and steel channels by a professional fabrication shop)
Windshield is new safety glass
**it comes with the rare heater option “
“Sand dune, mud toy, small block Chevy, turbo400 with trans brake, np205 transfer case. It’s been sitting in the garage for a long time. I have lost interest in it. It needs the steering finished and a brake job. It’s four linked front and back. It runs and was a blast to drive. Took it apart several years ago to upgrade to hydraulic steering and never finished it. $5000 cash or may consider a trade. Titled as 84 CJ 7. Message me for more details. MSD Crower Brodix Coan TCI Hurst Barry Grant Fox Racing shocks Boggers Dertroit locker”
“Clean title and registration

289 V8 Conversion
3 speed manual transmission with overdrive
Dual exhaust
Power steering
Locking front hubs
Dual fuel tanks
Carb rebuilt within last year
Front tow bar
Spare set of stainless steel front fenders included
Runs strong. Used primarily for hunting. Only parting with it due to lack of time.”
“49 cj2a willys jeep, great condition for the year, ran two years ego, solid frame great bones, all original, converted to 12 volt system, clean nj title, easy to work on all parts still available”
“I am selling a great piece of American history here. Brand new steel m38 body. Frame off restoration. Flat 4 cylinder bored 30 over. Purrs like a kitten and cranks like a brand new one. Custom made bumpers and the whole body has a freshly done vinyl wrap. This is a nice jeep! Jeep has not seen mud in 25 years and the body never has. Brand New windshield too.”
This might have a DJ-3A Convertible body on a CJ chassis. While the dash is missing the large speedo, a gauge plate has been installed over that area of the dash. There’s no fuel inlet on the side, but Steve spotted the one in the rear (I missed it). It’s got the correct style of VIN tag to be a DJ-3A.
“Jeep tub has motor tranny axles wheels as in pic
have to be honest not sure if cj1-cj3 which?”
“All there except carb(I’d get a Weber) and rear driveshaft. Ford ts 1.6. (Pinto engine super nice in these!!)The clutch and adapter kit are all new. Clear nonop title in my name.”
