This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The jeep appears sound., however, there are two holes in the dash and the rear driver’s corner top holder has been partly removed.

“This Jeep has been in my family since it was bought new in 1953 and has never been out of Buncombe county. Used mostly around the farm, but has been babied its whole life. My parents had 5 Willys Jeeps around the farm and this was the one my mother had for “bad weather” but never really got used for much more than that. Has been kept inside its entire life and runs well. Transmission and transfer case shifts smoothly and the 4wd works as it should. I recently had it repainted and have put on all new brake shoes, wheel cylinders, brakes lines, and master cylinder. It has a new top, but it isn’t made for this exact model. It will keep you dry or out of the sun, but its just a little too wide for this model Jeep. If you have any questions or are interested in coming by to see it, “

(04/06/2015) Needs a few things to be complete. Has a rear PTO.
“I HAVE RESTORED THIS CJ3B FOR THE LAST 4 YEARS PUTTING ALL OEM PARTS FROM JEEP KAISER/WILLYS FRAME OFF RESTORED BODY WITH 65% ORIGINAL REMAINED ,NEW FLOORS, SOME METAL WORK ON SIDES, FRESH MOTOR, REMAN TRANS, NEW CLUTCH, BRAKES, ELECTRICAL, RADIATOR,FUEL TANK,SENDING UNIT,STEERING COLUMN, HOOD,TOO MUCH TOO LIST RECIEPTS ARE OVER 7K INVESTED PLUS I PURCHASED IT,$$$ IM FINISHING THE HARNESS SEATS AND TOP NOW BUT WILL SELL OR TRADE FOR TRUCK 4X4 FULL SIZE WHEN I FINISH THIS PROJECT IT WILL BE 10500. FOR EVERYTHING RUNS AND DRIVE GREAT CALL”

Parts from a 3B and a 2A.
“I have a 53 or so high hood that is titled as a 47 CJ2A. Many parts all very solid. Very little rust. 53 tub has a painless wiring harness, chevy tilt column, rino lined in and under all parts, full cage, toyota brake booster clutch master and pedals, and an Allstate jeep top with doors.(never been installed on this jeep) I do not want to part out. Must take all. ”

I *think* that exhaust pipe is just sitting in there. At first glance I thought it was installed that way. Yikes! Has rear PTO. Seller listed it as a ‘1947 army jeep’.
