About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“This 54 Willy is a great buy. Body is in great shape. I have put over 7,000 into this jeep. V8, new radiator and electric fan, breaks totally redone, upgraded axles and transmission, aluminum rims and tires have few miles on them. New rear folding seat. Very fun jeep. Hate to sell.”
“Hello
I have a pair of Willys jeeps
One is a Cj 2a the other Is a cj3b
The 2a is in pieces but I have everything, the flathead motor is stuck, it’s currently out of the jeep
The 3b basically has a motor and tranny, everything else is pretty rotted, but my original plan was to drop that motor in the 2a but I am leaving for the navy so don’t have enough time”
(05/16/2013) I expect the tub’s been replaced given the indents. This appears in good shape.
“1962 Willys CJ3b Jeep 70,200 miles in good running condition.
Olive drab M606 military style body is 99% rust free.
Comes with military tires, pioneering tools (ax & shovel),
spare tire, spare fuel can, pintle hitch & bumperettes.
Engine is a Willys “L” head Four cylinder 134ci that does smoke a little but runs smoothly.
Transmission is the T-90 3 speed. Warn lock out hubs were installed.
The front seats are original and in solid condition, the rear seat is is from a CJ5. The Jeep is topless.”
“It’s got a new gas tank and fuel line, a new water pump, and a new battery. points and condenser ..there’s some red naugahide for the seats but I never got around to installing…kinda got on the back burner”
“59 Willys in overall great shape for the year. I got it in 2006 from a guy that last ran it in 1972. It sat in his garage for 33 years. I replaced the following parts with quality brands such as Omix-ADA , Wagner, timken, federal mogul, four wheel parts hardware, quadratech, ect.
New fuel tank, fuel lines, pump, carb, master brake cylinder, 4 wheel brake cylinders, shoes, spring kits, brake lines, drums, seals in front and rear diffs, tapered bearings on ball joints, rebuilt engine, clutch and pressure plate, high volume oil pump, water pump, points, plugs, coil. Ive Gone through everything mechanically. Just needs some bodywork, I havent done any body work, it was fiberglassed in the front floor pan area back in 70’s spare tire mount area on passenger side rear quarter panel. Body isnt that bad. I have used the jeep since 2007 putting on maybe 500-1000 miles per year. Could use rear springs, as there stock and have flattened out a little. Frame is excellent and painted black from years ago. Ive got thousands into the jeep, your getting a lot of jeep for $2500”
“1958 CJ3B 4Cyl F-Head Engine. Ramsey 8,000 lb. PTO Winch.

UPDATE: Price dropped to $2800. I like this for the price.
(09/24/09)This looks good and comes with many parts.
“Inherited from brother and all I’ve done is store it for six years and run it once in a while. Don’t really know a lot about the jeep other than the following. Dana 23’s in the front with 35’s in the rear. Engine is 1972 Chevy Vega 140 cu/in (2300cc) aluminum block with steel sleeves. “Tight pattern” Saginaw four speed and all cynchroes work. Custom built “Very stout” rollcage with (6) bolt down locations. Roll bar is tied-in the heater system and has small holes that defog the front window and sides. Padded bucket seats have five-way seat harness system. Padded rear seat w/back rest has seat belts. Has PTO Koenig winch. I personally have never gone four wheeling in the jeep but everything seems to work. Inside floor board has some very light rust. Also has toe-bar and bakini top.”
No pics, but includes an overdrive. It’s worth a look.
“I have a jeep that needs a home where someone will give it the attention it deserves. It has the original motor , 12volt, still has the foot switch starter, Warn overdrive. This is a fun jeep , you could fix it up or keep it as is. Great project. Hasent been registered in a couple years , you would be responsible for that. Sorry no pictures its kind of buried in my garage.
“1953 Jeep Willy’s with 4.0 L jeep engine. No Title.
I was building a 6×6 Jeep (if you want 4×4 you can unbolt the rear axle / frame section it is not welded)
The engine has the complete wiring harness, computer, etc. and will run (with a little work)it has had all of the pan gaskets and rear main seal replaced. I had the bell housing reworked by Novak Transmissions to adapt it to the stock T-90 transmission. It has most everything to get it going, but will probably need brake cylinders. ”
