No title, but it runs.

“I am selling a 1954 willys jeep that I currently use on my deer camp. This is a great all terrain vehicle and runs well. Recently I have noticed there is a leak in the transfer case so that does have to be fixed on the jeep. I am asking 1400 OBO. I only have a bill of sale not the title. It will run if you want to put it on a trailer. Only thing it needs is the transfer case needs to be resealed. I will meet in either Graham or Jacksboro to deliver the jeep. Please call if you have any questions about the jeep.”

“Hello, I am selling out my Willys Jeep project & stuff. It is an all original 46 2A body on a 52 M-38 chassis. needs to be completed. everything new to this point. I also have a mostly complete 3B, a really nice 2A chassis and a MB rolling chassis w/floating rear axle and small tranny. I have engines, transmissions and boxes of parts and so on. years of collecting. I have way to much to list and will not banter back and forth via email. please don’t waist our time. I am looking for a serious buyer and will only part out how I see it best if you do not want the entire package. These are only partial listings and pics.

“FOR SALE:
1954 Willys Jeep CJ-3
The Jeep has been the beneficiary of a 95% restore. Also, this is a current and professional restoration.
The original 2.2L 4-cylinder and the original 3-speed manual transmission were rebuilt so that the Jeep could be a provider of worry-free enjoyment.
The body/tub was professionally repainted a red/orange hue. The roll bar was refinished in a deep black hue.
The Jeep has new 15-inch wheels and tires. The tires measure 31/10.50/15.
The majority of the undercarriage, including the frame and the suspension components, was either replaced, restored, or refinished. Please view the pictures to gain an understanding for the condition of the underside of this Jeep.
The four-wheel drive is fully functional and the four-wheel drive is activated by way of the manual lockers.

Custom bucket seats, roll bar, radio, custom defroster, electric wipers, Saganal Steering with tilt, 8,000 LB Warn winch with remote, front and rear lockers, black soft top plus bikini top, chrome wheels and BF Goodrich tires in great shape, spare tire carrier and new spare, custom luggage rack, C-9 transmission with overdrive, electric cooling fan, auxilary electric fuel pump, black diamond shocks, warn lock out hubs, dual exhaust/headers. No rust. New clutch and suspension work, newly painted hood. This jeep is ready to go down the road. dependable and fun.”

(12/08/2012) It doesn’t run.  Those are early dogs with pretty good tread.  the body has some patches.

“Willys Jeep 1953 CJ3B 4X4, project antique vehicle. Hasn’t run in 10 plus years, owned for 30 plus years. AS IS, Clear title. Needs work great project for 4-wheeler enthusiast. Engine is 225 Buick V-6, 4 barrel carburetor, Offenhauser intake and valve covers, header and side exhaust. Manual transmission, hi-lo transfer case, lock-out hubs on front axle. Tires have extreme tread but are for off road. Hasn’t been started in over 10 years.”

“The elderly man we purchased the Jeep from said he purchased it new . The title had a date of 1978 , we suspect the state may have made one update the titles when they changed their system . In fact when we went to change ownership , it took the state two months to locate the paper work required . I have a copy of the 78 title . The vehicle runs and drives , though it will require a thorough going over . I cannot see any rust holes in the floor boards , there are a few spots that are rusted through in the rear body panel where dirt has collected . A New Mexico car from new is my understanding . It has typical surface rust . Someone did change the color from Green to Red on the outside . You buy the red Jeep , the white Jeep is free along with the extra engine sitting in the bed of white Jeep . No title with white Jeep . Contact me with your number and the best time to call .”
