These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1958 WILLYS JEEP, JUST IN TIME FOR HUNTING SEASON. CAMO PAINT, 350 SMALL BLOCK CHEVY ENGINE, 4 SPEED TRANNY. NEW TIRES, SEATS, CARB, EXHAUST AND SPRAY IN FLOOR LINER IN 2008. NEW HORN, DISTRIBUTOR, BATTERY IN 2010. INSPECTED, REGISTERED AND READY TO ENJOY.”
UPDATE: This is now on eBay. Though there are now more pics, none of the pics show the rear.
(07/25/2010) None of the pictures shows the rear. The passenger side rear appears to show some damage/rust at the edge of the picture.
“Attention collector’s, Willys fans, or farmers…runs great! Use 2WD or 4WD. Body has some rust on floor. Side steps and floormats included. Spare tire mount damage but can be straightened. Windshield intact and works, wipers, hood, headlights, seats, seat belts, etc. all good. No top.”

“I have a rare hard to find 3B high hood for sale . It has been in my family for twenty plus years . My grand father had it all rebuilt 18 years ago and then parked it in his shop for yhe next 15 years . I got it 4 years ago and fixed a few little leaks it had from sitting so long . It has a ford 289 V8 in it . The motor is pretty much stock other than headers . It also has saginaw power steering . This is as nice of high hood as there is around .I talso has new tires and wheels .”

ENGINE completely rebuilt using stock parts (F4-134 75HP); additional new items include brake lines, brakes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, radiator, water pump, 3 seats, wiring harness, locking front hubs, shocks, fuel tank. REBUILT items include starter and generator. EXTRAS include 8000 lb PTO winch, side steps, swing away tire carrier, roll bar, rear trailer bar, tow bar, tow lights, heater, seat belts, driving front lights.”

This runs. It looks like a good wind would blow the paint right off of this.
“This is a nice little Flat Fender CJ. Someone went through the running gear a few years ago and it was on the road. It runs good, just put a new battery and fuel pump in it. Brakes are good and I think it will pass inspection as is. The body need some patches. The Plow Hoist in the photo does not come with it.”
