“1956 Military Jeep 1958 Willys 1/4 Ton Jeep metal cab. Asking $3500 O.B.O. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3800.
This looks in reasonable condition. I do wonder what gun fighter shot a hole in the hood of this poor, defenseless jeep.
“Please make calls between 7AM and 9PM mountain time 406-591-9090. GREAT huntin’ rig or topless summer fun. F-head 4-cylinder , 12 volt factory system , all new bulbs. heater works great , seats are very nice , no rips or split seams. It has character , runs great , no smoke. Even a BULLET hole , (look after the “S” in WILLYS) ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $13,995
(06/24/09) This is a nice looking CJ-3B, however I don’t think it will fetch the asking price. I’m gonna guess that the tranny is a T-15. I had a T-15 (with a built buick 225) in my last jeep and thought it was fine for both racing, jeeping and the road.
“1953 body with a 1948 frame, Complete frame off restoration, All new body panels replaced except tub. Front/Rear differential completey rebuilt. Buick 231 Motor, completely rebuilt with 20 over TRW pistons and off road cam with only 2 hours of run time. New Alum. High-Rise intake manifold. New Holley 2 barrel front float. Complete custom rewiring. Electronic distributor. Chromed valve covers and Alternator. 12V high flow air compressor in engine compartment, with accessories. Electric fan. Ceramic coated headers. Transmission from later model 68 3 speed jeep, geared low. Power steering.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $3700
(11/19/09) This looks nice enough, though I’m not sure why the builder didn’t paint the extension body pieces. The frame looks to be a mid to late 70s, early 80s CJ frame as best I can tell.
“fully custom rock crawler, 304 with msd and edelbrock upgrades.roll bar, complete soft top, including doors. bikini top as shown on the pictures, this is a bad jeep she;ll take you anywhere. reason for selling it, this shitty economy finally hit, my loss your gain. call for details,323 474 6284. no trades unless 1986 to 1991 suzuki gsxr 750 no stockies, plus cash, blue and white prefer, thanks for looking.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
It’s a nice looking rig & trailer.
“1961 WILLYS CJ-3B, CLEAR TITLE, 13,500 ORIGINAL MILES, ORIGINAL HURRICANE 4 CYL ENGINE, STARTS, RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT, THIS IS A VERY NICE OLD JEEP, THERE ARE JUST 3 OR 4 VERY TINY RUST SPOTS ON THE BODY, THE BODY IS VERY SOLID, NO RUST IN THE FLOOR OR TOOL BOX, EVERYTHING WORKS, 2 OF THE SNAPS ON THE BACK OF THE TOP NEED TO BE REPAIRED, THE WHEELS ARE VERY NICE, 31X10.50X15 TIRES ARE LIKE BRAND NEW, INCLUDES THE PTO WINCH YOU SEE IN THE PIC, INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL WHEELS AND TIRES, INCLUDES THE MILITARY TRAILER IN THE PICS, YOU WILL NOTICE THAT ONE OF THE TRAILER LIGHTS IS BROKEN – BOTH TRAILER LIGHTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED SINCE THESE PICS WERE TAKEN.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4900
This looks like a very nice CJ-3B for the price.
“Available now is my ’53 Willys Jeep. It appears unmolested – which is to say that it looks reasonably stock and is in very good condition for its age. Adult owned – garaged. Has a functioning 8-track tape player (and tapes) and a Johnson 23ch CB radio, too. Included (but not shown) is a rear cargo rack and a fold-down rear seat. Also included is a Bikini top. Mechanically, it has had all of the desirable modifications done: Buick V6, SM420 transmission, Saginaw steering, Warn winch, KC lites, etc. I replaced the entire suspension last year…new leaf springs, shocks, shackles…even new grease fittings! I’d consider trades for a very cherry Samurai, Toyota 4×4/4Runner, or maybe a small convertible sports car like a Miata. I have many pics of this Willys and would be glad to forward some to you. E-mail me with questions.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $2500
(10/16/09) I suspect this is a little rougher than the seller suggests. I’m not sure if it runs or not.
“All original ,4wheel drive, only thing it needs mechanically is some engine wiring. Would be a nice project for anyone who’s into antiques or 4 wheel drives. Makes a great off-road jeep! Asking $2500 obo, hate to sell it, but we’re moving and can’t take it with us. Might also be willing to trade for dependable 4door car or extended cab truck. Call 913-269-9801 -Jason”
It looks like there is $450 worth of parts on this jeep. It even runs!
“1955 Willys Jeep project or for parts – it has a sears roebuck upper body, 4 cylinder standard, does run but needs work. $450 or close offer, must be sold by Sunday 4/11. It’s not nice but it’s 55 years old and parts are getting harder to find. I hate to cut it up for scrap metal but I need it gone. Comes with bill of sale only.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1600.
(03/22/2010) It runs and drives (the seller is getting it a tune-up). It sounds like the body might be rough. No pics, but it this might be a deal.
“Tan Jeep in ok condition. will be doing a tune up on it over the next few days and that should cure the problem it had with starting. once it starts up the vehical runs strong and works well. it comes with a new, in the box wiring harness made specifically for this vehical from Kaiser Willys that I never got around to installing. let me know if you’re intersted and we’ll get a time set up to look at it. also email me if you want pictures. it was buried in the garage when my roommate cleaned up last weekend so it will take time to dig out. ”
This might be a good value if the body is in good shape. It’s sure not a 46 tub.
“i have a 46 willys tub it is a older resto.. no motor ar trans its on a 58 frame. has the low back seats with original window frame, gas tank, fender grill hood and tail gate.has unicersal 12 circuit painless wireing harness, really good shape for age. have open title.. just lost interst and the room for it. asking 2000 o.b.o might consider trade would like a decent 4 wheeler 350cc or bigger or anything of interest no fords though. can email pictures and any questions or call 3063063 after 3 p.m”
