Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. When I first saw it, I thought it was restored to original. Instead it’s a custom restoration that seems half original and half custom, which I think hurts the value a bit.

The price looks pretty good for this CJ-3B.

The seller claims this is in restorable condition, but it looks like there’s quite a bit of edge rust.
