Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1958 cj3b originally a Navy Jeep. The plate is on the firewall with all the data. Runs excellent, all lights work, heater works. It has the typical rust in all the normal places for an old Jeep. Would make a perfect example restored back to a Navy Shore Patrol Jeep. Will be sold with a bill of sale and the pink slip showing that I paid the taxes on it when I purchased it from the city of Woonsocket in Rhode Island.”
This won’t last long. It’s got a Kelly hardtop.

“Fast and extremely capable Jeep. Chevy 350 with Holley 650 cfm Truck Avenger carburetor. Bolted to a GM Muncie 4spd connected to a spicer 18 transfer case with a Warn All range overdrive. Rear axle is a full floating Dana 44 with Detroit locker and 5.38 gears. Front axle is a narrowed scout Dana 44 with Detroit locker and 5.38’s. Has 2 1/2 inch lift with brand new 33×12.5R15 BFG mud terrain tires on vintage magnesium turbines. Frame is completely solid tub is very solid. New gas tank. Engine runs amazing. Has new Corbeau bucket seats with lap belts. I have lost interest in this.”
Given the Meyer hardtop and other parts, this might be worth a look. No engine.

Rennie spotted this rare jeep. Based on a CJ-3B-Page brochure, this is most likely an EBRO Bravo Model “L”. It seems the jeep below has had some modifications.

This lighter is located in Italy. I’ve not seen one of these 3B lighters.
