This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Southern Jeep, Originally from Texas, restored in Arkansas, lived in Atlanta GA for 2 years. Has been in Michigan since April. Jeep has not seen dirt since in Michigan. Original restored driveline. “Cj3-B with original drivetrain. Has about 7500 miles on rebuilt motor and trans. Has stereo and a heater as well. Full soft top with doors and best top front and rear seats. Super bright LED headlights. Has a warn 8000 lb winch. I believe it’s a 2 1/2 inch lift, has 31” tires now could easily fit 33’s. Homemade spare tire carrier with hi lift jack and place for two Jerry cans(someone stole mine) has power steering from a Cherokee. The only bad, the power steering reservoir leaks.”
Seller has two jeeps for sale, but not pics of the “1947” DJ-3A (probably a DJ-3A body on a CJ-2A chassis). Seller also has a CJ-3B project for $4000 as shown below.

(03/10/2020) Jeff’s selling this nicely refurbished CJ-3B with a PTO winch. It appears to have a reproduction body.
“1953 Willys Jeep CJ3B High Hood. 4740 miles since 2010 restoration. Rebuilt Hurricane engine with 12 volt system. Original Harrison heater and Ramsey PTO winch. Rear seat with locking compartment. Original running gear with Warn locking hubs. Owned since 1989, always garaged. Receipts. Runs, drives, and stops like it should. Nice example that is ready to enjoy.”
