About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This has a 2×4 as a front crossmember? I think we’ve seen this before; that rear seat looks familiar.
“First year of the Jeep CJ5. Runs great, recent engine, brake and exaust rebuild. Needs clutch work to get going again. The floors are rusted out but the rest of the body is good. Pretty much all original. Needs restoration or use for hunting, etc.. Original color is Diamond Blue. Clean Idaho title.”
“older willys jeep, starts and runs well, body is rough but solid, 4 wheel drive works, new front brake wheel cylinders, new master cylinder, recent oil change and filter.”
The jeep is rough (and a bit high priced for not having an engine), but it does include an overdrive. The seller doesn’t mention it, so might not know it.
“I have a 56 Willys cj5 jeep for sale. This is a project needs some work. Body is in pretty good shape. No motor. I have no title, needs to be trailered.”
“This Jeep is a great candidate for restoration. It has the original engine that starts and runs perfectly! The transmission and clutch also work as they should and I have driven it around the block. However, the brake lines are rusty so I have not attempted to get them bled. Right now the pedal goes to the floor.
“This is my 1955 willys cj5. It has been my pride and joy for the last 12years, and I am ready to let someone else enjoy this wonderful vehicle.
It is a blast to drive, and great to look at! It was fully restored in 2006. It served me as my Daily driver all through high school and then some years after. It has been kept indoors for the last 10 years. The more kids we have the less it gets driven, and it is depressing to see it set and not get used. I would rather have someone enjoy it than have it set in my garage with the other “toys” I don’t use anymore.
“This is a 1961 CJ5 four wheel drive restored by previous owner. Runs fantastic, newish paint in great shape, good seats, new tires, 34,320 miles on odometer and new besttop soft top. Text me if you have any questions.
Would consider trading for a newer Jeep 6cyl or a Toyota 4Runner 4×4. Let me know what you have, all I can say is Yes or No.”
