Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (06/28/2017) Looks like a CJ-6, but seller notes it is a CJ-5 that’s been extended.
“1973 CJ5 with wheel length of CJ6. 302 Mustang motor.”
UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was $1500.
Cage not included.
“I have a 66 CJ5 ran when parked now motor is seized I have a good motor Buick v6 and adaptors that can go with it also have modern running gear to go with if wanted. Cage does not go with jeep”

(09/24/2017) This one’s a bit funky. Has a “cage” over the roll bar.
“I have a former fire dept jeep with clear title. Very good condition. Odometer shows only 1900 miles, which could be true due to history but title does say discrepancy. Previous owner did some engine work like water pump and other things. He messed up timing, and I haven’t had time to really work on it. It will start, but runs rough. Wife is bugging me to get out of garage, and I don’t have time to work on it. Very rare!
Previous owner lifted 2″ by changing springs and put these wheels on it. I have original wheels with tires also.”
Both need some work.
“I have for sale my 1951 and 1961 Willys jeeps. The 1961 runs and drives great, starts every time but the 1951 does need some work. The 1961 jeep has 10000 miles on a complete rebuild. They are both original. Call for more info.”

“Willy’s cj-5 jeep. Starts, runs, and drives good. F134 Hurricane 4cyl, 3 speed, twin stick transfer case, 5:38 gears, all in good condition. Been converted to 12 volt and Saginaw steering. Brakes work but a little weak. All lights, gauges, and emergency brake work. Bestop soft top needs one new zipper otherwise good condition. Clear title in my name. Great little hunting, trail riding, or ranch jeep. $2900 cash.”

“Up for sale 1975 Jeep CJ5. Powered by the bullet proof inline six cylinder engine. Three speed manual transmission, 4×4. This Jeep is a true survivor!! Very little is non factory as far as I can tell. Except for the kick a** racing seat… And your gonna need it cause when you hit 3rd gear look out 😉
As far as rust, fenders are perfect, except a little 1x1in hole on right side, hood perfect frame perfect. Now the body, this is (I may be the first man to say this about a cj) but this body is 97% rust free. Only spot I can see needs attention is right lower cowel.
Now your getting a titled (in my name, currently registered) 1974 Jeep; that starts, stops, steers brakes, daily driver Jeep that is almost, maybe the least rusty, 1975 original cj left, for $2700 obo!!! If you are looking for a winter project, you found it!!!”
