About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This has an interesting dash. Looks like a fiberglass aftermarket dash of some type.

The fire parts have been removed, but seller still has them.
“1974 Jeep CJ-5, odometer reads 59,000 miles. This jeep is unique it was a fire truck from new, has aluminum tank, hose reel, working pump, lights, sirens, PA loudspeaker, removable winch etc. I have taken the firetruck parts off the jeep and used it as summer fun with a bikini top, then cold season with metal hardtop! The jeep is not a perfect show vehicle but is in decent shape for an old jeep. It is curently titled as PA antique. Asking $10,000, please don’t waste our time with unreasonable offers.
jeep comes will all the original firetruck parts that can be easily reassembled in no time at all and all steel hardtop and doors.”
Listed as a 1958, the VIN indicates it is a late 1960 stock CJ-5 that includes 2/3 1/3 front seats and a ventilating windshield. Look slick it would be a great restoration project.
“Fun old jeep, ran when parked approx 3 yrs ago. Not 100% sure about the year. Needs plugs, wires and battery at a minimum. Motor turns freely by hand. Gorgeous patina on this unique slice of jeep history. $1500 OBO. No papers. Come and get her!”
“This is a super nice 1959 Willys Jeep CJ5. It’s been sitting in a garage for 20 years. It’s had the same owner since 1960. It’s all original with original motor and 2 sets of wheels. Very rare in this un molested condition. Has original black plates.”
Nick’ selling this CJ-5 with a 3 point hitch. It’s got some early CJ-5 items including that hard-to-find-speedometer. It looks like the pointer broke in the same space mine did.
“This is a 1955 Willys CJ5 farm Jeep. It is complete with an all original drivetrain, and a rear PTO along with a 3-point hitch. I have a title. I found this on a farm just an hour away from Toledo, Ohio.
Engine is an original F-head, it is free and has spark. I rewired the ignition system. The exhaust valves are stuck open and will need to addressed before it can run. The starter works and with a couple plugs off, it did fire.
Gas tank holds fuel and the fuel lines have been cleaned. Tires have dryrot but hold air. Carb is clean on the inside. Frame is good and solid. Body has front floor patches but is overall good shape.
Transmission and tcase shift very smooth. The PTO shifter is stuck. All the 3-point system is free and moves well. The hydraulic pump is disconnected from the engine as I didn’t know if there was fluid in it. I also have soft top bows and door frames. Overall this is a great Jeep with period correct agricultural attachments.
To make the body work on that frame the fenders and hood need to be extended.
“Your looking at a jeep willys cj2 fiberglass tub made by 4 wheel drive. Frame is a 1976 cj5 that has been painted, breaks rebuilt, new brake lines, new leg bushings, bolts, and shackles. Has straight six engine mounted to 3 speed transmission. Frame has been gone through and ready to build. Comes with wiring harness, steering column, pedal assembly, and more. Much more invested than I’m asking. If you want that cool looking flat fender keep on a newer frame this is it. I will also throw in a 1955 willys cj5 frame with extras.”
“4WD , 3 door cab, Jeep with snow plow, newly rebuilt engine, great running condition, Solid frame body needs some work, all snow tires, front chains, 45K miles”
“I have three Jeeps to sell as a package deal for $6,000. The first is a mostly original 1954 CJ3B with perfect body/paint, zero rust, and running (power steering was added & leaks). Second, 1984 CJ7 w/ 258 that runs & has some rust. Last is 1967 CJ5 w/ 225 that does not start and needs work. If interested, you’ll need a trailer and cash. Price is extremely reasonable so I’m not interested in negotiating. May also be interested in trade for a nice all wheel drive car.”
Has a ventilating windshield and a really early speedo cluster.
“A true classic ready for restoration. Original Owner. Used primarily for hunting in Eastern OR. and running around the farm in the valley. Mileage is correct. Motor Starts and runs. This was one of the first CJ5s built and has several military parts, including the split windshield and side mirror mount. Very unusual. Vehicle was stored in a barn and recently brought to Gibson Auto in Portland for full evaluation. Full documentation available. Over $700.00 spent. New Battery, points, condenser, fluids, etc. Installed alternative fuel source line to test engine. A great restoration project for the right person. Body needs repair, but overall most rust is mostly surface, except for two small spots below the door openings. I would probably replace the floor boards, Seats have been recovered. Needs new front right spring (I would replace all, but that one is broken) and a new gas tank and fuel lines. Gauges appear to work. Old convertible top needs to be replaced. Wiring works, but needs to be upgraded or replaced. Tires have good tread, but are old and should be replaced. Unique opportunity to own a true original vehicle and have some fun fixing it up! The vehicle has a tow bar, so getting it to its new home will not be too hard. Call for more information. I have a lot!”
