About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“I am selling my Jeep cj-5 It has been a project for about half a year now. When I bought it didn’t run most of the parts were in a box, I replaced quite a few parts on it and got it running, then the rear main oil seal started to leak. I thought this was the end of the jeep but , as it turns out its a simple fix. the new seal is about $20 and takes 30 min to an hour to install. YES you will need to tow it home! if you try to drive it you WILL lock up the engine.
“I have 2 willys jeeps cj5’s. Selling whole only. Will not part them out. $600 for the pair. Or $350 each. Both tubs are pretty much shot. Both have full steel doors with roll up windows. Both have f head engines. Both have plow pumps. Rims straight. Tires are junk. These aren’t running, but the engines are complete.
No titles. ”
“PRICE DROP (again) Ive dropped the price dramatically from my original asking amount at $4500. I am moving and I need this gone by the end of the month! 1964 Jeep CJ5 with 27,000 miles on the odometer. I’m not sure if it has rolled over or not. There is absolutely no cancer rust on this beast. There are just a few small spots of surface rust. But it is mostly in near excellent condition. It has aftermarket seats and seat belts. It has a really cool removable hard top. It’s a manual 3 speed. And it has locking front hubs for 4 wheel drive, which works perfect. I just put brand new tires in like a week ago. It has 31’s on. It is completely stock, no lift and no modifications to the engine. It has the original 2.2 liter 4 cylinder Hurricane engine. It runs and drives excellent! It is insanely fun to drive around town. I don’t often see a hood scoop on an M-38A1/CJ-5 hood. I thought that was interesting. Has lots of other updates.

“1948 CJ 2 A – this Willy’s Jeep, has been in the family over 45 years. No rust to be seen under passage seat compartment, little paint boil but solid body. Everything is original. Jeeps this age will make you money, don’t dump money into a newer jeep that loses value. Selling for low blue book value, but better shape than most good book value jeeps.
I grew up around this Jeep (I’m 56 now) it runs and drive good, been parked for most of 20 years. Engine turns over, needs carburetor rebuilt gas runs through it. I don’t have the time or interest in getting it running, thus the low book price.
buy now, rebuild carburetor, change oils, repair seats, tires and its ready to roll for next hunting season CJ 2 – 1948 is $4,500 “
It’s rough and needs work, but does have a PTO and a bed extension.
“For sale is this great Jeep WILLYS, it’s a cj5 model willys 4×4. Wish we had the title but bought it off a good friend who had lost it many years ago. It was running and driving great just a couple months ago, now needs some minor repairs. The radiator is leaking and the starter needs to be replaced. Also needs a new battery and NO BRAKES. We’ve had this jeep for a good while but think it’s time to sell it and let someone else enjoy this fun toy. This model includes a pto that you can attach equipment to or a pump. Also you don’t see too many with the extended box in the back like this one. Does need work but overall an awesome ranch vehicle or great project.”
