About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
There is also a good thread on OWF called “Rusted to the Ground” it’s a good read.
Couple parts here the one looks to have a top, some horns and oil filters, some good stuff here for the price if you have time to go pull some out of the weeds.

Information from seller:
Jeep,Willy’s CJ5 1956! This is for you if you need a good frame, good springs, ,good front and rear axles, nice tires and wheels, good hood, fair front clip, steering good, straight 6 cylinder transplant (stuck), transmission and transfer in tact! No Title! $650.00
1955 CJ5 listed as 1954 Jeep Willys $2,000Waycross, GA
This is listed as a 1954 but the data plate from what I make out says it’s a later 1955, 57548 22368 is what I make out but don’t hold me too it the plates are always lightly stamped, the good thing on the plate the screws look legit and there is dark green paint on the plate so its been there for a minute for sure.
The speedo is from an Aero, it’s a 0-10 which are neat pieces. The Willys logo on those are just retro George Jetson stuff.
The Aero seemed to have a what I call 0-0 on the Aero Custom then they used a more common 0-10.
It was my 5 year old son who picked up on the 0-0, I have a wall hanger gauge it’s way broken and he was like “why does this one have two zeros?” of course I said it doesn’t low and behold it went from 0 to 0
Used on the Aero Custom 0-0
There are a few terms we use on the Speedo like the large 0-9, there are a few versions of the large all in one:
Mid 56 to 57
The later 0-9 which is very common.
The Tuxedo Park had a chrome bezel around it.
The one really neat part about the large Aero Speedo is they used a chrome bezel like a Tuxedo Park would have, maybe a little different reveal on the two parts.
Information from seller:
1954 Jeep Willy’s · Truck · Driven 100,000 miles I have 54 Willy’s got on trade don’t know much about but good start to a nice toy.
Neat looking Jeep for the price point has a lot of history to this as well. Has issues as noted in the ad, but overall you can tell someone really loved this thing in the past with all the neat details it has going for it.
Pin striping, top, side mirror, I like the fender mounted turn signals, with $3500 OBO should go look at this one if you are in the market and local.
Information from seller:
1958 Jeep Willys CJ5 134ci 60hp “Go Devil Four” T-90 3spd Trans Dana 41 Rear Axle, Dana 28 Front Dana 18 Transfer Case Owned since 1964, at that time my father bought a six year-old jeep. The Jeep is all original. Many extra parts. The transmission was pulled to install a new clutch. New clutch installed and the mechanic got hurt on a different job. The transmission and the transfer case are currently removed from the vehicle assembled on the garage floor ready to reinstall. about 15 years ago the motor was rebuilt by a well-known mechanic in Beltsville. There is rust, years ago. This Jeep was on Assateague Island, and the beaches of the Outer Banks in North Carolina. I will answer any questions that I can, the price is $3500 OBO
I think there is more to this one might be worth a look. Just a single far away picture, but V6 Dauntless, needs some stuff, does not run, fiberglass body. Hard to say without more info but sometimes you have to put some leg work into these.
Information from seller:
1966 CJ-5. Fiberglass body. Needs fuel pump and rear main seal. Frame is solid. Has the dauntless 225 v6 with manual transmission. Will also need window frame and dash. $4500 or best offer. Picture is from a year ago. Currently not tagged and does not run.
Looks like a local dealer in NH. Rig looks capable needs some stuff looking at the pictures. Zip Tape is the new Duct Tape, not knocking it at all, it will definitely keep the seats dry.
Information from seller:
Nice running 1958 willy’s jeep ! All on the road and off road also! Lots of fun !
