About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(006/03/2014) I think I’ve seen another one of these overhead frameworks on another jeep. Was this an aftermarket farm product.

Nice looking restoration. Here’s some information about the super jeep: http://www.superjeep.com/Folklore/folklore.html
(Note, you might remember the old site as superjeep.info. Bruce updated that to superjeep.com)
“This is a very rare authentic 1973 Jeep CJ-5 “Super Jeep.” It has been meticulously restored to original specifications and details. It has its original factory issued 304 V8 with power steering and power brakes. These were rare options at the time this model was produced. Most of the Super Jeeps had 258 6 cylinder engines with manual steering and brakes. It was last registered and inspected in August of 2012 and still continues to run and drive great.
There is not a lot of information available on the Super Jeep other than the copies of a few articles written about them at the time, They were only manufactured for one year in 1973 and it is rumored that only a few hundred of the models were made.
Everything works besides the gas and oil pressure gauge. I’m not sure why but the previous owner reset the odometer during restoration so the actual mileage of the Jeep is unknown. Since the restoration, 420 miles have been put on it. The Jeep does not have a roof, and the original style white soft top is almost impossible to find. However, there are many aftermarket soft tops that can be fitted for this CJ-5.”
“1955 and 1971 Jeeps for sale. The ’71 is a Willys Jeep CJ. Both motors in these two vehicles have been re-built and both run, they just need some TLC. Please stop by the house and take a look. The first $1,000 takes both Jeeps and both working motors!! Of course you can always make an offer, no reasonable offer will be denied. We are moving and I have to sell these ASAP! My name is Joey”
“1966 survivor Willys jeep, was in a garage since 1972,pulled out in 2010 new seat covers, battery, tires and fired up with only 2161original miles, with hard top & doors.”
“I have 2 jeeps that are in good condition and can be brought back to use. One is a late 40’s and the other is early to mid 50’s. Don’t have time to work on them anymore and would rather them be used than rust. “
“’73 CJ5 “willy” has new top and doors (not pictured), excellent tread on tires, 304 V8 3 speed manual w/aftermarket headers, racing seats w/four point harnesses”
“Red 1965 Jeep Willys CJ5 Tuxedo Park Edition Mark IV
Prince: 12.000 or best offer Millage: 63,761 Manual Transmission 4 WD 4 Cylinder
The Jeep is in excellent condition. The engine and the interior has been redone. The jeep has been modified a little bit. Originally the shifter was next to the steering wheel, but has been moved onto the floor as you may notice in the photo below. It has the original stereo. However, we added stereo speakers which are installed under the driver and the passenger seats.
First gear tends to have problems because it’s out of sync. So if you’re trying to shift into first gear from second gear, you need to either come to a complete stop; or raise the RPM to allow it to slide into first gear. Other then that, the jeep runs very well. The jeep has a hard top and a bikini top included. You can also lower the front windshield onto the hood. “

“1966 CJ5 Jeep with the oddfire engine, hardtop and bikini top. This jeep was used by my family in the orchard and for hunting/fishing for years. The owner died and it sat for a long time and then it has been passed around the family getting fixed up. The engine is strong and it is a fun jeep but it does need some work. We just had our second child and don’t use it anymore.
