This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Given the investment, this might be a good solid CJ.
“62 CJ-5 bought a year ago for 5k, have 10k in receipts for a complete refresh. Prof rebuilt engine, trans and transfer case. New OD,fuel system,Complete steering,tierods,ball joints seals and bearings for the front end all new.New shocks and springs. Speed hut repro guages,Summit heater. New bikini top, steel Meyer hardtop with doors and roll up windows for the winter. Driven daily, not a hot rod but will probably put about for another 50 years. Nice patina on an older repaint. Will consider ALL offers, it is time for another project.”

1. M-38A1:
“It’s a 1954 Willys Army Jeep – M38A1.
Converted to 12 volt, heater added,
but rest of vehicle is authentic military.
Needs flat panel sheet metal work.
NO spare, NO title.
Got a front bumper, got a folding windshield.
Have a parts jeep, 1961 CJ-5
working on getting these parts and a title.
Will trade for other vehicles.
Consideration to veterans and veteran organizations.”
2. CJ-5:

I’ll be stripping a 1961 CJ-5 Jeep tomorrow.
This Jeep had a snow plow, so the plow frame and the
hydraulics will be for sale.
The sheet metal, 2 front fenders, axles and frames will

think there are 3 extra rims and tires.
Buy the frame with trans, transfer case and axles for cheap.
Build your own rock crawler or off road ride.
Highschool shop class, Boy Scout troop project.

“1965 CJ5 This is a total rebuild project. Mostly complete. Needs motor. Frame is in good condition. Top has slight dent in it, doesn’t show in pics. $700.00 firm. Serious inquiries only please.”
This may be a CJ-5 chassis with a fiberglass body.
“Accepting offers on my Willys jeep. Titled as a 1962 Willys, it has a CJ2A body tub with a 3A windshield.
Body is fiberglass so no rust issues. Has a Dauntless V6 225 motor with a Saginaw 4 speed transmission.
Recent work done includes:
New wiring harness
New gauges
New taillights
All new brakes including master cylinder
New slave cylinder for the clutch
New CJ5 fuel tank converted to underside
Rebuilt carb
New DUI distributor with 10mm Livewires
New mufflers
New seatbelts
Has full soft top with doors in great condition
Fires right up, everything works. Needs a little TLC to be finished but fun to drive as-is. ”

“1958 CJ-5, very good mostly original condition. F-134 motor runs excellent, mechanically sound. Solid body with steel Koenig half cab (I do have the doors, just took them off for the summer). 60/40 bench seat. Serious inquiries only. Thanks for looking.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500. Windyhill reports that is a rare Stratton 3 Point hitch.
I didn’t think much of this, until I saw the 3 point hitch.
“64 willy’s jeep with removable hard top. Haven’t tried to start it. Body is in need of some TLC. Has a 540 pto and 3 point hitch. 4 cylinder motor. Have title.”
