About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Unique Tux.
Information from seller:
1966 Tuxedo Park CJ5a needs engine work. Really clean interior and the top is nearly perfect. Body is beautiful. Most of the customization was done in the 70s. Im getting a kidney transplant and need to let her go. 8k. Is a pretty sweet deal.
I kind of like this one for what it could have been back in the day, it looks to have a hydraulic pump or at least I think that’s what that small handle under the dash is for. Little worse for wear but it has a tough look and should have been quite the CJ back in its day. The original Gladiator for sure.
Classic Yankee turn signal, these have just a classic buzzer for the signal they are pretty neat pieces.
Information from seller:
1958 jeep truck. for sale . 4 cylinder, 3 speed , frame good , have ownership, jeep is complete. can deliver.
This was posted 12 Weeks ago, but is still up. Couple things I can see looks fairly solid, not sure on the exact set up here, has no tail gate but don’t see the battery box either, the speedo is atleast a later mid ‘57 and newer. But could have easily have required to be changed at some point in it’s time around the trails. Top looks solid, at some point I need to study up on CJ Tops in general. Looks to have an electric winch out front.
If it’s still up maybe reach out to them and see if you can swing by for a look and drive.
Peter emailed this one over and its also cross posted on FB.
Listed as a 63 CJ5, looks like a neat CJ. I kind of thought with that battery box it would be a little earlier, a picture of the Data plate in the engine compartment would help narrow it down.
It does not look like an M38-A1 for a number of things that I have read, like the gauges and the tail gate, Jeep on the side, missing some plugs provisions and the sort.
I don’t like to get stick on the year, but if anyone has a good reference guide for the smalls happy to do some research. I just feel this could have the possibility of being a little earlier then ’63.
As far as no title, NY does not have “Titles” for older vehicles, they do have transferrable registrations a formal NY State Bill of Sale documents, I was able to purchase my 1963 Wagon from NY with the transferrable Registration, for NJ it only required that the seller and buyer signed a notarized document, that was a NJ requirement, and there was a straight forward process. No issues on my end getting a clean NJ title for my ’63 that had no formal NY Title, but had that registration on the back it has a spot for transfer. I was done in about an hour at DMV in NJ. In NY I feel its also very easy if there is a registration of sorts at some point to go back too.
