Sure it’s a little rough, but it runs and has hurricane rims. It just doesn’t stop well.
“1956 Willy’s CJ3B Jeep, runs great, smokes a little. Has not been on the road in years… Used as a hunting rig on the farm. Starts right up and shifts good. I don’t think you could hang this thing up. Will go anywhere. I got a side by side and just haven’t needed the jeep so I thought maybe someone else could use it. Needs brake work. they worked last year but got it out yesterday and pedal goes to the floor. Cant be much wrong with them. Call me if interested. $1500”
UPDATE: The jeep sold for $16,000.
John spotted this auction. He reports the jeep is as good as it looks in the photo.
Sounds like this was a Forest Service jeep. Maybe includes a gov data plate?

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was Make Offer.
It’s a dusty time capsule.
“just testing the waters, she ran when she was parked almost 30 years ago, she has the v5 225 dauntless v6 engine very hard to find one stock and original, they were only in some cj5’s from ’66-’71, I plan on pulling her out and cleaning her up once the snow clears, probably won’t get rid of her, unless price is right or I think trade is worth it, don’t give me a bogus price offer, and I won’t trade for any crap.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2800.
“Chevy V-6 engine, with a 3-speed transmission and transfer case. 11 inch brakes, Steward Warner gauges. Tires are 32/1150/15 on chrome wheels. Comes with TOW BAR. Newer Saginaw steering box with a u-joint and pivot bearing at the bottom of column. MECHANICALLY SOUND!!f”
Looks like there is some value here.
“I’ve got 2 cj5’s that i want to sell. One is complete with little rust but a bad frame. Its a 59 if i recall correctly, it does not have a title. The other has a good frame, but bad tub. It is a 63 and has a title. Bought one to finish the other but have no time, and lost all motivation. Both in running order. So thats 2 134f engines 2 t90 transmissions and transfer cases. Have some extra parts to go with. 2000 obo they go together. The yellow one has been disassembled for sandblasting and the tub was no good. Frame was painted and the engine tranny and transfer case are all set in place, its ready for the other tub to be placed on.”
Looks good for the price, but the windshield and frame was damaged in a roll?
“Selling my 1969 jeep Willy’s
