“1956 Willys Jeep CJ5 (Please no calls past 7pm – No trades – 615-448-5556)
I believe has a Hurricane 4cyl engine and T90 manual transmission.
Has original wheels, top and doors. ** Top and doors are really hard to find… Worth a ton ** Front fenders and floor pans have lots of rust.
It does not run. It was running 2 years ago… Took carburetor off and some other stuff and never got back around to fixing it up. If it was running, I’d be selling it for a lot more than $900obo.
Has original 1956 title from the farmer I purchased it from. It was used to pull large delivery trucks up steep hills. Has lots of various parts that come with it.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500
“Totally stock and great original condition 1959 Willys CJ5 with a nice and complete Koenig hardtop. The only additions/modifications are Rambler hubcaps and a gun rack on the dash. Also includes a very rare Koenig bed extender with jerry can holders. Has the rare 60/40 bench seats, which are freshly and beautifully reupholstered. Original and working AM radio. As far as I know, it has less than 50,000 original miles. It spent it previous life as a ranch Jeep in Wyoming, and prior to my ownership, was in a barn in Montana. I have the notebook with service records in it from decades ago. Only minor surface rust, nothing cancerous, and as you can see, very solid and straight and dent-free body with no welding or patches on it anywhere. There is rust on the bottom of the tailgate in the usual spot where the hinges connect, but I have a brand new primered Rugged Ridge Willys tailgate that will be included (cost me ~$200). Fresh tuneup on the F134 Willys Hurricane engine, starts right up and runs really well. I’ve had it going a sustained 50mph up the very steep mountain highway near my house, but it spends most of its time being babied in my garage or cruising around my property while I grin from ear to ear. Fantastic classic Jeep and a ton of fun. Hate to sell it, but I have to. $3,500, pretty firm.”
UPDATE: **SOLD**
This CJ-5 looks like it has a paint color similar to a DJ-3A. Nice looking CJ-5. Thanks to Dave for pointing this one out.
” I am selling my wife’s Willys Jeep CJ. She’s moved on to another 4×4. This Willys is in very good original condition and is the original color from the factory. It has not been monkeyed with much in any way. I think this Willys is as clean and straight as there is for sale out there. It has 22500 original miles and has been kept under a shed most of it’s life. It runs as it should and does not smoke or leak any fluids or burn oil. Factory inline 4 cylinder engine. It still has the original seats in it. The drivers side seat needs to be recovered. It is a three speed high low gears and 4×4 with locking hubs. All works as it should. It will climb up a tree. There are no rusty bubbles or rust holes on it anywhere. It has a pto but it was disconnected when we got it. The headlights, high low beam, tail lights and blinkers work as they should. The vin number under the hood is original and has never been messed with. There was no title with it when we bought it and sells with a bill of sale. The tailgate, chains and chain covers are still intact. The windshield can be put completely down and has a crack in it. I have the rear frame and cover and the door frames but they are dry and stiff. I have the spare tire mount, the original spare tire and wheel and the rear view mirror. When we bought it I had all the fluids from front to back changed. I had new belts, spark plugs and spark plug wires replaced in it as well. Nothing else has been needed since.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2900.
This may have potential. Not perfect, but looks solid and straight.
“1975 Jeep CJ5 for sale $2900. Jeep runs good and is in ok condition for the age of the vehicle. 3 speed transmission, 4.2L engine. This would be a good restoration project because it is stock setup or just license it and drive it.”
UPDATE: Was $7500. **SOLD**
This is a running Tuxedo Mark III.
“This is one of the best in the country. Original paint, the color is called Indian Ceramic. Runs great. The ’63 Tuxedo Mark III was the first production model with chrome trim on all latches, bumpers, side steps, grab bar and more. This jeep has been in Arizona all it’s life, the last 10 years in Sun City storage.”
The auction takes place March 29th, 2014. The wagon looks dirty and looks like it has been parked there quite a while. Window is broken.
