About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
UPDATE : Price dropped to $2000. This sure seems like a great deal if it is as advertised.

“Hi and thank you for looking at my auction. I am helping my father list his Willys jeep as he isn’t computer savy, not that I am either:)
He has a 1955 CJ5 Willys jeep. It has a Best Top soft top and doors. Overhead valve engine. Came from a farm in Illinois before my father bought it. Drives out well. Has been sitting in the shed on the farm here for a few years. Starts and runs well. Carburetor might need a rebuild again. I rebuilt it a fews years back but this wonderful ethanol fuel ruins the rubber diphram in this carb. Paint is fair, not flashy but not going to slide off in a fast turn either. Body is nice and not a rust bucket. I can take pics of the floors and inside and under the body. Was always a red Willys. First year of this “new” body style.
Any questions please ask. Always welcome to come and look and drive it. We will help with shipping and can haul or drive it towards you if that helps. Is and has always been inside since my father purchased it and can stay here if needed as long is it is paid for or prior agreement made to do so. Willing to help just ask before the end of the sale! Title is free and clear, no liens or loans on it.
This is a nice old running and driving jeep. It is almost 60 years old and lived it’s life on a farm. It has a super solid body and runs out great and handles like a nice old truck. It does have dings and dents that have been fixed, the paint is as old as I am (35 years), there are chips in the paint and some scatches. It is a super fun go and get a malt type of dependable old vehicle.
This is a $6500.00 jeep not a restored $12,000.00 one so if that is what you want this is not the truck for you. Please come and look at it before you bid or ask questions about with more than a day left, please. It can be driven and I encourage people interested to do just that.”
For $500 looks like a good parts jeep. It doesn’t run at the moment, but has a Kelly hardtop.
“For sale is a 1963 Jeep Willys CJ5 it has a steel hard top and full hard doors in good condition. Also it has 2 engines the orginal 4 cylinder and the buick v6 found in the later 1960’s willys, also it has the orginal transmission and transfer case, has a rear dana 44 and i also have an extra dana 44 with it and too many other parts to list. I also have a clean and clear title for this jeep. This is a restoration project, frame body and hard top has surface rust but has no rust through spots just on the rear cross member. Transmission and transfer case will need overhauled and it does not run.”
“Parting jeep CJ5. Nice straight tub and sheetmetal, T14 transmission w/ super T18 transfer case and V6 bellhousing. Disassembled engine, Power take off units and PTO winches. Lots of misc small parts. Some Fhead engine parts and early CJ stuff. Nice CJ3A – M38 windshield frame with good glass. WWII MB seats. call with needs. 509-674-6054 Can deliver to Seattle area.”
“1959 CJ5 Willys Jeep. Very nice Jeep close to original no lifts or giant tires. Rare Myers 1/2 cab. rear PTO unit, 4 cylinder, 4.56 axle ratio, 3 speed. tons of new parts and really good tires. Asking $4000.00 or a resonable offer. it needs soom clutch ajustment . Call Bill @ 8282300710 No call after 9:00 PM or add solicitiors please.”
UPDATE: I had this as a CJ-5, but Andy pointed out that it looks more like a M-38A1. He’s right.
The jeep runs, but may need a new clutch.
“Up for sale is my 1957 Willy’s Jeep. Truck has the F-Head 4 cylinder, three speed tranny with the PTO, truck is showing 77,xxx on the odometer. Also has a 6 foot plow on the front of it. Truck has a steel hardtop with full steel doors. I think the Jeep needs a clutch cause with it running, it won’t move at all. I bought this as a project but I have way to many things to work on right now so this has to go. Have the registration in hand, ready to go. Has not been on the road since 1982. Also still has the military badge on the dash with instructions on how to drive it. This is a pretty cool piece of history. Asking $1,400 or B/O. May also be interested in trades, shoot me offer of what you have. My cell number is 715-6148, best way to get a hold of me is by texting.”
“Hi, this is a very nice 1955 Willys cj5. The speedo says 42,800 miles and I believe it accurate as I am the 3rd owner and the last guy had it for almost 20 years. Also, the frame is NOT rusted out!
Smooth running f134, 3speed, CLEAR TITLE, “Tank Top” topper (made here in KC), heater, front tow bar, rear HD trailer hitch, new tires, new starter, runs great!
This is a very clean Willys with rust only in the “tool box” under the passenger seat.
100% ready to roll!!
Call Scott 913-562-7528″
With out the quarterpanels, this looks like it has no pants. However, it runs and drives (in the yard).
“This Jeep has no title just bill of sell. Does run and yard drive 4 cyl. 3 spd, needs break work. Rusty but would make a good 4+4 farm vehicle !!! * 828-244-7120 *”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3200. This is part CJ-3B and part CJ-5.
(11/26/2010) “Jeep/Buick Dauntless 225 cu. in. V-6 engine, manual stock 3 spd trans/transfer case out of a 1966 Jeep CJ5. I put a new 3B body on about 12 years ago. Not a speck of rust. Garage kept ever since. Only driven on nice days. Jeep has no top. I put in CJ7 pwr steering and tilt wheel, full roll cage with stock seat frames tied into roll cage. Stock 5.38 axles, 16 inch steel wheels with radial snow tires. Electric cooling fan and steel shroud. Runs great and sounds great with headers and side pipes. Serious inquiries only. No tire kickers, picture gawkers, or wanna bees.”
