James spotted this Fire Jeep for sale through a government liquidation auction. This auction is over on Thursday.
“1977 Jeep Model CJ-5 with fire fighting equipment, 4wd.VIN J7F83EE051601. With a 232 CI 6 cylinder gasoline engine driven through a 3 speed manual transmission and a rear mounted winch. Pump has been removed. Operating condition unknown.”

“1968 CJ 5 Jeep, This Jeep is in very nice condition and is set up for serious off road travel, clear Oregon title with 2014 tags, Buick V-6, T-18 4 speed transmission, Warn Overdrive, after market commercially produced boxed frame, stainless steel headers, dual exhaust, electric fan, power steering with radiator cooler, roll bar, double shocks, lifted, set up with tow bar for easy movement, second set of Super Swamper tires on chrome wheels.”
It runs, thought it needs a few parts. The rust might be minimal given the top.

You will see in the photos this thing is completely original from tires to glass, to the paint and top. The only added feature I am aware of is a tubular steel roll cage that was added. This Jeep was kept in a barn for roughly 20 years. It would be a great Willys Restore Project due to it all being there.
The price for this Jeep is $$1750 OBO. Cash Only Please. This Jeep needs an ignition switch rebuild, a starter solenoid, a battery and two battery terminal cable connections to run. We carb started it when the battery and solenoid were still attached and it cranked within 5 minutes!.

“EEP CJ 5 Tub , Hood Fenders, front grill, and other misc. parts. Tub , fenders, hood and grill are all seperate pieces and are not bolted together just set therm in place for pic. Tub Will Work for 1955-1975 CJ5, The hood and fenders will fit 1955-1971 CJ5 or CJ6. Both fenders have a 3-4 inch crack from front tires hitting , can be easily repaired with $10.00 fiberglass repair kit from auto parts store. The tub is solid no cracks some scratches in the paint and just cut outs for pedals and shifters, hood is in good shape no structual flaws. This was a mud toy for me so there are surface scratches. Overall in good shape if you dont care about cosmetics assemble and go if you want nice paint job it is the right price for the project.
