About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“UN-MOLESTED 1958 JEEP CJ5, was a father son project, son lost interest so it sits in the drive way. only has 41k miles.. runs, needs carb work.(carb is off) brakes need bleeding. tub is very rusted. easily made drivable. no title…. bring offers…… 425-345-8576”
“1961 Willys Jeep Cj5 4cyl, 3 speed. Runs and drives good. all lights, windshield wipers etc. work. Still needs a little work has some rust. $1500 obo. email or call 423-833-2668”
This is pretty banged up, but does have a warn OD. Of course there’s no way to test it, so I wouldn’t assume it’s worth $500 or more.
“willys jeep for sale no tittle parts only 800 obo; roll bar; 3 speed with a warn overdrive/ warns are not made anymore on ebay go for 750-1000; ford 289 needs to be gone though; aluminum hard top with doors; two steering coulmns; front tow hitch; will have to be towed or trailered;”
It runs (though smokes). It plows. Looks like a good price.
“1964 CJ-5 Jeep this Jeep has been used only to plow a drive way for the last 20 years. It runs but smokes now,I think it’s the valve seals. It starts right up and runs great. The break lines are rotted out. I have a new master cylinder and rebuild kits for the wheels cylinders and some new brake hoses. I replaced the generator last year with a new GM alternator. The floors need work they were patched already. The frame seems to be in good shape I didn’t see any rot. The body has some rot and rust. The plow pump was just replaced with a newer Meyers pump which works great just needs to be wired. I have the controls and lights for the plow. This is a project I didn’t have time for. Would be a great project for someone or good for parts. I don’t have any paper work on it. I could provide a bill of sale. You can get a title from one of the online companies. The guy who had it before me owned it for 20 years. Call Tom @ 917-364-2605 Please call between 9am-10pm.The price is $750.00 CASH ONLY or let me know what you have to trade! The plow pump and lights alone are worth $600.00 and no I won’t sell the just the plow pump. I won’t ship you must have it towed home! Don’t text me I will only take phone calls.”
If this just needs the carb cleaned, then it might be a good price.
“For sale is a jeep with a hardtop, needs about $500 of work, brake lines, carb kit, rear springs and exhust. had it running a while back but needs carb kit to start better. Steve 218-261-0263”
“Jeep Number 1: CJ5 – Blue, no title, no VIN tag or data plate, no axles, no engine, just a body. Most likely late ’70’s.
Jeep Number 2: CJ2A – Red, no title, no VIN tag or data plate, complete with engine but missing crank. Both axles, complete running gear. Most likely around 1947 due to round recessed turn signals.
Jeep Number 3: CJ3A – Red, no title, VIN: 8105 118510 – complete with engine. Both axles, complete running gear. Most likely around 1949.
Jeep Number 4: CJ2A – Yellow/Green, no title, VIN: 60979 – complete with engine (engine has been removed) Both axles, complete running gear (transfer case in bed). Most likely around 1946.
I will throw in additional axles, driveshafts, motor, and a couple transfer cases…”
