Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “It’s a 1955 Willis jeep , 4wd ,motor is a 226 super hurricane , 80,128 miles on it. Comes with high rack, feeder, and winch. Also have another extra motor for it. Must pick up.”
This has a hunting seat in the back, along with other mods.

“1948 Willy’s Jeep with rebuilt Ford 302 engine. Four wheel works good as well as the low and high range. New front seats, rumble seat, leaf springs, hangers, shocks and fuel cell. Runs great, lots of power, have original title.”
The CJ-6 shown on this postcard is described as the “typical hunting rig used throughout the Valley” and by valley they mean the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas.

This is worth a look. It’s got the brake assist as well as the updates. Those front seats might be really comfy, but supportive jeep seats.
