“Hello i have for sale a 1962 jeep cj-5 turn on the fuel pump and she runs like a champ needs left front hub work and both front fenders are dented. jeep runs amazing has 4cyl 2 hi 2low 4 hi 4 low and a 2 speed transfer case!! all tires hold air drove it about 20 min during the snow with no problems runs good. brakes actually work!! asking 1000$ obo what ya got?? also up for trades for just about anything!! Strangely, the seller neglects to mention the gaping divide between the body and the front clip.  That aside, there’s plenty of value in the rims, tires and body parts.

“this is not a running jeep….it has a clean fram, nice tires and nice chrome rime. body is ok but floor pans need redone. has mounts in already for g motor. axles are clean as well. front is already converted to disc brakes. windshield is not cracked. I am re-listing this Jeep, price is now lower and includes all parts listed!!!
304 V-8.
77,000 original miles on motor
Jeep is complete, but it is still a project. Needs re-wired, and gas lines/tank re-installed.
Minor rust on body, worst spots are on passenger side rocker guard, and under windshield. Frame has some rust spots, but is not broken or bent. Cab floor is solid, rear of tub has some rust on the inside.
I bought this Jeep as a project; I just purchased a new Jeep Wranger JK. Wife says one too many projects around, this is the last one to go. Buying a house this Spring, don’t want to take Jeep with me. First time seller on Craigslist, if it doesn’t sell on here, will advertise Jeep locally. I have all parts to get this project rolling, (extra solid frame, extra vinyl seats, new fuel lines, diamond plating for rocker guards/windshield).
Jeep will come with a new starter (installed). Please help this Jeep find a good home.

Jeep will have to be towed or trailered.

You can hear Jeep start and run, but wiring is a mess.

The engine is out.  This might be good for some parts.

(11/22/2010) I think this has a great old-school feel to it with some practical upgrades.

In great shape! There we not many of these built. It is mostly original. This is a project that I have stopped working on. I repeat..this is a Project that runs. Here are the negatives:
-It is unregistered. It has Past Due Registration Fees in the range of $305.00.
-It runs but I have not driven it for 2 years.

This includes a PTO and snow plow.  Looks like a good price.  I haven’t see too many of the Bonanza II hardtops.

“I have a ’61 willys jeep that needs some TLC. A project that never got started. It has an inline 4 cyl, manual tranny with hi/low range, pto winch and a snow plow lift(I still have the plow if interested). A little bubble of rust under the driver door, frame looks good. This one cracked me up.  The seller notes it is both fully restored AND it needs brake work.  So, I’d say this is sort of restored.
