The hydraulics on this are interesting, including the rear PTO shield.

“SELLING MY FARM JEEP WITH 12,000 ORIGINAL MILES. HAS FRONT PTO WINCH, HYDRAULICS FOR FRONT OR REAR TO USE FOR LOG SPLITTER, SNOW PLOW, REAR MOWER ETC. PURRS LIKE A KITTEN, TWO OF THE PICTURES SHOW THE PUMP UNDER THE HOOD AND PUSH PULL KNOB ON DASH FOR THE HYDRAULICS. HAS HAND THROTTLE WHEN USING THE PTO’S. I HAVE A FAIRLEAD FOR THE WINCH BUT WILL NEED REPAIRS ON IT. ABOUT ALL THE ELECTRICAL WORKS. FRAME IS NICE AS SEEN IN ONE OF THE PICTURES AND BODY HAS RUST BUT STILL HAS LOTS OF LIFE IN IT. Hog forwarded this auction.  Bidding just ended on this CJ-5 previously owned by Bing Crosby, reaching a high of $5850.  I suspect it will be back on eBay at some point.

“Barn stored since 1973. Perfect running condition. Originally used on Rising River Ranch by the Crosby Cattle Co. Owned by Bing Crosby from new until 1973. All original, but seats and turn signal assembly. As you can see in the pictures the cosmetics are not perfect, but are easily fixed. This thing could climb a wall! She’s ready to go and up to date on all paperwork. Pink slip in hand.”

This includes a rebuilt engine, though it isn’t installed.

“1966 Jeep with aftermarket solid top, standard on column, 4×4, 4 cylinder, with 6′ MANUAL angle, hydraulic lift plow. This is a project Jeep, does NOT currently run. Needs work, Engine re-built but NOT installed, Needs starter, alternator, battery, etc… to run. This is a cool little Jeep that would make a great winter project.”

It might be the carb or a fuel pump.  I suspect the problem is cheap to solve.  This might have little or no rust.

Brett spotted this find. It appears to include an overdrive, so this might not be a good price.  It even runs.

“Very cool Jeep CJ-5, Runs and drives but needs a tune up. Way fun to drive and would be an awesome muddin’ machine. This jeep is rare as in its the old military style. It is a manual and has the 3 little shifters along with gear shifter. i dont know much about it come and buy it today!”
