This looks like a great price.  This has a rear PTO and is set up for a plow on the front.

“nice collectable Jeep in good shape….needs little to complete re-store…was built during the transition from Willy’s to Kaiser and has some rare features ( Hydrailic winch/ lift system for Myers snow plow or dozer blade, and a Ford pto system on rear) both factory and operational with shifting levers in floor. Jeep enthusist will know alot more from vin# etc. but these are rare in this condition. Items still needed and currently being worked on……seats, fender flares, rear leaf springs, windshield glass Has fresh paint job, good wheels and tires, motor, tanfer case, transmission, rear end all in good shape……. don’t really have money to finish and need the cash…. has the Hurricane 4 motor.. jeep is all original”

A reader spotted this unusual deal.  That MB looks solid and appears stock.  The seller incorrectly lists the MB as a M-38.  This seller is also selling a Jeepster.

“4 Willys Jeeps For Sale. All Jeeps run good and have the original engines. One is a 1961 Willys Jeep set up for a service station with a steel plow and complete hydraulic plow package. The second is also from the early 1960’s and set up for a service station, and has a hydraulic plow hook-up. The third Jeep is also from the early 1960’s and has a hydraulic plow hook-up. The last Jeep is a 1950 or 1951 M-38 Military Jeep. All four Jeeps are complete and they all have some rot and rust. All four Jeeps are ready for restoration. It’s got some classic slot rims and a PTO Winch.  It looks like a great price.

“Sale is for a 1956 Willy’s Jeep CJ5- $1500.00 or best offer and as is condition. Jeep has a 1972 in-line (straight) 6 cylinder Ford Bronco motor, low gear ratio, PTO Wench w/approx. 2000′ of 5/16″ wire cable, electric fuel pump, new leaf springs with a 2″-3″ lift, new seals on the transmission, transfer case and rear differential, new muffler.

Jeep exterior and interior needs paint and the seats need to be re-upholstered. The wiring could also be updated.  This jeep is a strong runner but it is not good for use on public roads due to the low gear ratio (top speed approx. 45 mph) and age. This jeep would be great for hunting, off-roading, climbing, etc. The jeep has a tow bar attached to the front so it can be pulled to your destination.
