“Great hunting lease Jeep! 1977 CJ5 Renegade with safari seats on the back and the front. Has run well for a year but it has trouble starting and backfires now. I am not a mechanic but I am guessing it runs very rich as I had to replace the fuel pump and I don’t know how to adjust the carb. Purchased a year ago but I changed to a lease that is better for a smaller vehicle. Open to trade for a side by side or the like. Added 4 LED spot lights, replaced the windshield, comes with a spare tire, replaced the front passenger seat (it was worn through) with a rally seat, replaced gas pump, replaced winch controller (it works) includes a rear seat that could be mounted under the safari seats. Unknown mileage. I have the signed title from when I bought it, just never transferred to my name.”

Looks like there is value here. This project includes another tub. This appears to have a unique hardtop, one I don’t think I’ve documented previously.

“This is a brand new 1951 Willys CJ3A body. It is on a 1975 CJ5 frame with 1977 CJ7 axles with disc on the front. Wrangler leaf springs. 1987 Ford 2.3 with a Rare C4 automatic (rebuilt) behind it. I have the transfer case, it needs rebuilt and you will of course need the adapter. New tilt column,new manual Saginaw box. No title.

Due to overwhelming interest I will add to the ad! Tub has been coated underneath with Master Series Silver and Black undercoating. It will NOT rust. It was even gravity flowed into the seams. New carb
Racer Walsh intake adapter
New tires
Aluminum wheels
Turbo Ford Valve Cover included
New drivers seat.
Used passenger seat.
I may have back seat frame, not sure.
New gas tank
No wiring or gauges
No windshield
No plumbing for coolant or brakes, brakes will need done
no pedal set
No heater etc
needs driveshafts done
Shackle hangars need to be bolted on.
All welding is done. needs a lot of little things to be finished but that’s what I can think of.”
