Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (10/19/2020) This nice looking CJ-6 is owned by the original owner. It has been repainted and there are a few minor mods. The rear bumper is something I don’t remember seeing on a jeep.

Working parking brake, 4WD works, original working KS 0-8 speedo, Warn locking hubs, BFG All terrain KO2 235/85-16s. Smittybuilt rear seat, Besttop front seat covers. Has working heater with fan, all lights and turn signals work. Clean title. It has a few beauty marks and little bit of rust in the usual places. Some small oil leaks. This hasn’t run in a while. Has a power converter on the dash.

“1974 CJ6. Chevy 350 built motor with Holly fuel injection. Motor and 700r transmission are fresh. On 35s with a 4” lift. Rhino liner exterior. It is a 95% completed, off-frame restoration that I’ve lost interest in. Will be an every day driver with a windshield, a little brake work, steering linkage and a rollbar. Also have a 304 on an engine stand and three 3-speed transmissions with transfer case if you want it back to stock. $12,000 for everything. No trades. Clear title in hand.”
