“Complete frame off restore/mod 1965 CJ6 Jeep! Lots of amazing upgrades and work, not to mention $$$ (Receipts for over $18K in just parts/service!) has gone into this Jeep. Runs and drives, but needs work of some kind.

“There were a limited number of CJ6 Jeep built by Kaiser Willys of which very few are still operating today. This Jeep has had a lot of work performed on it to get it back on the road. The CJ6 was 20″ longer than the CJ5.
The following work has been performed on this Jeep:
New Best soft top
New Smitty Seats
Front brakes upgraded to 11″ Drums
Front wheel bearings and wheel cylinders replaced
New rear 10″ brake shoes and wheel cylinders
New radiator
New HEI distributor
Rebuilt transmission
Remanufactured carb
New clutch and linkage
New 31” all terrain tires
New windshield frame, glass, and bulkhead seal
New wiper motor, linkage, switch, arms, & blades
New steering wheel
Finished a road trip this July from Colorado to Portland so jeep is ready for adventure.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9750.

Has upgrades. The title lists it as a 1954, so the seller isn’t sure why that is.

“Solid jeep, lots of new parts, just added power steering, new wiring, new brake master, new hydraulic clutch, new swing pedals, new tail lights, corner guards, seats (bucket front, bench rear). New heater/defrost, radiator, alternator, power steering pump, clutch, headers (outside frame), exhaust.  Just repaired rust in floor pan and structure, repaired tailgate rust, new instrument gauges, new dash cover (hand made/fit), repaired firewall.

This is set up for jeeping, geared really low for off-road, not for highways.  I have additional roll bar from CJ7, I was going to use for parts to create front cage at windshield, just haven’t gotten to it.

Paint in poor condition, former owner used bed-liner and rolled on lime green paint, comes off with ease though.

The wierd thing, this is titled as a 1954, but CJ6’s weren’t made until 1955. VIN starts with 57, so I think that is what it is supposed to be.”

This is a project sitting on Scout axles.
