About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(08/20/2017) “Beautiful, all original 1962 Jeep Cj-6 for sale. Has only 7850 original miles! Mileage will change as l drive it every chance I get. Always stored inside. Runs and drives like new, again only 7850 miles. Original seats (including rear), original canvas top with doors and side curtains. Owned by the same family for 55 years, the second generation did have it repainted the original color about 10 years ago. Everything works, currently registered and inspected. Includes an uninstalled Warn overdrive. Only 2500 Cj-6s were made in 1962 and I don’t believe you will find another one like this. Please email me with your name and a phone number I can reach you at, I will respond quickly. All other inquiries will be ignored.”
“This is a “73” CJ-6. Let me start by saying this is a PROJECT. It doesn’t run, drive or steer. What is for sale is a body, fenders, hood, frame, soft top and some other extras. The body is fiberglass. Frame was an NOS bought from Willy Overland in Ohio. There are axles under it but they are strictly rollers. There is no motor, transmission or transfer case. I bought this as a project from someone else. I had big intentions for it when I bought it ten years ago but hit a stall on the project and have lost interest. It has a lot of potential. If you have question message me. I’m willing to negotiate in person or over the phone.”
“1960 jeep cj6 rare not to many left frame could use some boxing and a sandblast powder coat both front and back axles. w538 gears i believe (stock)bulldog front clip papers in storage.”

Seller will not part out or separate. The green one has a Meyer hardtop.
“I AM NOT PARTING THESE OUT, IF YOU WANT PARTS BUY THEM BOTH AND TAKE WHAT YOU NEED. DON’T ASK ME FOR PARTS PLEASE. THANKS
Selling as a pair, a 1961 CJ-6 with an F Head motor. I really only bought this as a parts donor for the 67. Has a descent frame, motor turns by hand and is mostly complete, T90 and Dana 18 combo and still shift, unknown what insides look like. I am asuming the axles are 538 gears, but not sure. Dash is nice, roll bar, heater etc.
Number two was running and driving in 2016, (registered in NY) Dauntless V-6 motor runs well, but no brakes. Frame is just OK, the doublers straps that go along the bottom are coming off, hence buying the 61. Muffler is gone and its loud, but can drive up onto trailer, just have chocks in place to stop it. Full hard top and its in pretty good shape, has some rust through, but very savable. All doors work and the rear hatch goes up and locks in place. Tranny I think is a T86 and it shifts fine. TC is a bit stiff, but It works. Probably from not being used much.
Do not have titles, but both have Data plates. The NY registration was never sent to me from the person in NY, even after numerous tries and offers of paying what ever fee’s he needed paying. I have a picture of the non -transferable NY reg. But thats it. These are located in Chester, Mass. 01011. Sold with bill of sale only. You can make one good one with some sheet metal work, niether tub is good, but the 67 is salvagable in MHO. $1500 or BRO. Thanks for looking”
The exterior was painted with a roller. It appears to have a little hat channel rust, but not bad for the age.
“1975 Cj-6 very clean, purchased from rural Nebraska, RARELY saw salt. Underside and body 99% rust free. If you are looking for a very good, rare, Jeep model, here you go. T18 4-speed, twin stick Dana 20 transfer case, Dana 44 rear end. 232 engine was rebuilt, rod bearings, main bearings, rings, gaskets, valve job, timing set, water pump, upgraded electronic distributor, new coil, new radiator, new leaf spring bushings, new gauges, new seats, new clutch, new clutch linkage, new brakes, new master cylinder, new wheel cylinders. Body was sanded and painted with a foam roller, Rustoleum Industrial coatings, looks good for a Jeep. Matching Jeep wheels, I have the proper spare wheel to go with it even though not mounted on Jeep. Have hard top doors to go with and heater unit. As-is-where is.”
