Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a 1965 CJ6. It’s got rust. I was going to fix it up, but just don’t have the time. I have the front axle off at the moment. Previous owner put in new Bestop front bucket seats and rear bench seat. I bought brand new tie rods/ends, brand new Warn premium 6 bolt locking hubs, & new Procomp 2 1/2″ suspension lift (springs, greaseable shackles, and shocks & U bolts). All new parts still in the box. The jeep has Dana 44 rear, Dana 27 front with 4.28 ratio. I’m selling it all together. Jeep, new parts, and clear Texas title. $2,000 OBO.”

“1974 cj6 jeep sitting on a k5 blazer frame had a Tbi 350 engine that had a 140000 miles on it has 38.5 tires with 50 percent tread or better Dana 44 front and 10 bolt rear needs finish up wiring harness needs put on and everything hooked up engine just had heads done before pulled out of the the other truck”

I no longer have use for it and would like it to go to someone that will us it! It runs like a champ have had the carburetor, original PTO winch, engine rebuilt back in 2007-2009. Not the rarest of the CJs, but not common. It has a Meyer half cab.
“Don’t know much about it my father passed away and now it’s mine. I know it’s the rarest of the CJ’s and it has a straight 6 cylinder. I’ve seen rust buckets going for $2k online. The jeep is not starting could be something simple. I’m willing to work with someone but I’m not giving it away no lowball offers or trades.”
