Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1965 Jeep CJ6. In line 4cyl. Ran with points distributer. Installed a brand new HEI type distributer and can’t get fire. Installed a new water pump, and carburetor. Have replacement brake lines, doors, and windshield that goes with it, also has 35″ tires. PTO driven winch. Have title in hand. Possible trade offers welcome.”
