“1960 CJ6 for sale. This is a jeep I had every intention to have restored but after a year I still haven’t had a chance to really mess around with this or check around to see what the cost to restore it is. It does run but will need a good tuneup, currently it will run briefly and shut down due to I believe a busted air hose. It will need in my opinion a new brake system all the way around. I was told it has a small leak in the front axle. It will need a little body work. The front floor boards have a few small holes but the floor is sturdy. The back floor is going to need to be replaced, after I got it home and really started looking at it also appears one of the back floor cross braces will need to be replaced. The windshield frame has a good amount of rust. The knobs for the choke, governor, etc… need some work meaning they are very difficult to pull out. Also the previous owner installed a plastic gas tank with a universal pump. The NADA Guides classic car retail for this vehicle mechanically functional is 4525, avg retail 11,400, and high retail 21,800. I’m open to offers, the only reason I mention the NADA prices is if you restore jeeps you could probably make a good profit. I can send photos if needed. Thanks.”

It’s stretched CJ-5 w/ a CJ-6 body.
“It has the strait six 258 motor
4 speed tranny T-18. Most CJs had a 3 speed in them.
It’s a cj5 extended to a six frame with a cj6 fiberglass body.
Runs, drives, all drive train works fine. However it is not ready for the highway yet if that’s you’re intent. It needs a couple minor things addressed for complete safety on the highway. Would be fine on a trail right now.
It’s in solid shape for the right person to turn a few things around to make it a daily runner.
I have a lot of nice extra parts.
Axles (scout front and ford 8.8 rea), nice set of seats, and some other stuff.”

“I have a 19060 JEEP CJ6 it is a old army medic jeep. Thats why the back is extended for stretchers i got it from my great grandfather and don’t have the fund’s or time to put in it. it is all original it even has the original seats. I am looking to trade for one of these items. I am looking for a nice snap on toolbox not a small one. Or a newer dirtbike must be 4 stroke and 450 maybe a 250.”
Includes a warn winch. I highly doubt the underside is like “brand new”.

“Ok sorry to anyone who showed interest before, I was working a lot and missed a few phone calls, so finally got to go over this cj6, it is a 1966 and has a clean clear title, Buick v6 with a manual 4 spd trans, it is the rare long wheel base passenger seat in back with bed behind it, good hard top and all glass is good, driver seat needs redone, has been sitting for a year, brakes are free and work good, drained the gas tank, and cleaned fuel lines, new fuel filter, waiting on a battery but should fire right up, it did run on started fluid to load on trailer. UPDATE new battery, it starts and runs and drives, all lights work too”

The body was stretched from it’s CJ-6 size, making it not so much rare as it is custom. A neat jeep though. It’s not clear to me, but I think this was a CJ-6 stretched onto a Scrambler chassis?

Factory 304 v8, t18 4 speed stick shift, model 20 t case twin stick, 4.0 low range. Dana44 rear, Detroit locker, 33 spline shafts, rear warn hubs, front Dana 30, ARB air locker, both with 4.88 gears. On board air engine driven compressor. 4″ lift kit, 33” BFG mud tires. Runs and drives excellent. Lots of power. I have full soft top and full soft doors plus half soft top and half doors. It comes with a very nice tow bar and lift jack. Lots of money invested in this jeep. Very easy to tow because all wheels unlock.
This is great jeep to own for jeep enthusiasts. My price is firm. “
