Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This is a hard to find model, the first generation scrambler. This is a project, but does run good, shifts, stops, and 4×4 works. Frame is in very good shape, but body sheet metal pretty much gone. Has a snow plow with hydraulic lift and manual angle. 586-419-4196”

“I have a 1960 cj6 Willis jeep project with a 4cly flathead Motor that starts and runs great to be as old as it is. The only thing it needs is breaks. It has no breaks at all. But the 4×4 and clutch is very strong . No title if interested call danny or would maybe interested in trading for a 400ex Honda 4 wheeler ”

Factory original 1955 first year Willys Jeep CJ-6 sales brochure. Measures 8 1/2″ x 11″ and folds open to 11″ x 17″ and is in excellent condition. Has details and specs.

Here’s an unusual CJ-6.
“I have a right hand drive military jeep. it runs and drives great. with a little work someone could make it a very nice jeep. I believe it was built to leave the country but never left . I am constantly asked if it was a mail jeep and the answer is no. the frame is solid all the way through. the body is in really good shape. if you know jeeps and look at this one you will see that . The tail lights and turn signals need work. it needs a windshield glass. the fourwheel drive works great. i think it has 4.10 gears. it is a 3 speed. It has a 258 straight 6. any other questions let me know. This is a pick up item only. Thanks for looking! God bless”

This doesn’t run.
“1975 Jeep CJ6 straight 6 three speed manual barn yard find out of Montana. Motor is there and body is straight. It has the original front seats and a CJ5 levi edition rear seat. Body is solid very little rust. Doesn’t run right now but it probably would fire up.”
