UPDATE:  Status Unknown.  

“Parting out my 1964 Willy’s Jeep CJ-6. TUB with Stamped Willy’s Tailgate. Some rust in tub under where the gas tanks were. Rear fenders have some dents. Windshield is in great shape. Dash is still intact. FRONT CLIP: The hood was sand blasted and primed. It is in good shape. The front fenders and Grill have some dents as per their age. Rollbar included. (NO drivetrain or chasis. I have the TITLE to accompany TUB)

JEEP RUNS AND IS IN ORIGINAL CONDITION .TIRES AND RIMS HAVE BEEN REPLACED,DIFFERENTIAL OIL AND CHROME DIFFERENTIAL COVERS HAVE BEEN REPLACED , TRANSMISSION/TRANSFER CASE OIL HAS BEEN REPLACED,BRAKE SYSTEM HAS BEEN OVER-HAULED WITH NEW PARTS,SUSPENSIONS BUSHINGS AND 1.5 GREASEABLE SHACKLES HAVE BEEN INSTALLED,NEW TIMING CHAIN, FUEL PUMP, ENGINE-TUNE-UP, AND NEW PRO-COMP 9000 SHOCKS.THIS IS A RESTORATION PROJECT NEEDS PAINT AND SOME MINOR BODY WORK.”

This was restored.  It looks very nice.  I don’t remember those entry steps being stock though.

The top isn’t in good shape.

“I am selling my 65 CJ6 Jeep, it has a small block chevy, Warn OD, 4.88 gears. The SBC was saddle mounted, the frame was not hacked up for the swap. The interior is all original, has rear original jump seat. Tires are virtually new. Has some minor surface rust, tub is in great shape. Soft top has seen better days. Overall a very solid rig. This ran when parked.  The year listed is too early for this model.  There might be some value here, though not in the paint job.

(05/30/2012) This sounds like a nice jeep with a nice drive train.

“This is kinda rare, A cj6 with all the factory options! 1973 cj6, amc v8, t18 jeep 4 speed (6.32 or granny), power steering, power brakes, 4.27 gear ratio with a limited slip dana 44 rear with one piece axles (std d30 front). All the best amc jeep had at the time! 103 inch wheelbase! The motor was replaced with a re-manufactured long-block about 4 or 5 years ago, the trans, transfercase and paint all re-done about 10 years ago, it has a few scratches and chips but looks beautiful and runs great, It is stored inside and gets used less than 500 miles a year, needs a new home. Also has prp seats, about a 4 inch lift and 35 inch tires. I will delete ad if sold. Sorry but no trades.”
