Brett spotted this project.  I think at the very least the body is a DJ-3A.  However, it shouldn’t have a PTO or the CJ-2A windshield.  So, I’m gonna guess this is a combo vehicle of some type — probably a DJ-3A/CJ-2A.

It has a complete body the tub needs a little work mostly front floors. It has a good windshield. The frame is mostly boxed with the spring hangers cut off at the moment. The front axle is a disc brake dana 30 from a 79 cj w/ 3:73 gears, the rear is the offset 44 it is torn down and has some of the parts for a full float disc set up, It has a dana 18 transfercase. I’m asking $500.00 for what I have come take a look or make offers on what you are interested in. I’m open to trades let me know what you have. I’m into most outdoors stuff and am working on a Scout 80 also.”

The seller thinks is a’56, which would suggest it is a DJ-3A.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.

This is listed as a 1949 CJ-2A, but this appears to be a DJ-3A (note the dash and the front bumper for starters).  The VIN number is particularly strange, as it looks like it has two different type of numbers.  Note how the 2nd set of numbers is very light and of a different font than the first set of numbers.  Something seems amiss to me.
