Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It was my intention to make a rat rod out of it. To many projects and not enough time or money. I have added a picture in my add here of another rat rod postal jeep that inspired me. I am selling the blue one. May consider some trades. What do you have ? You may not ever see another one of these jeeps that are LHD !! I know that I have not. ”

“1969 Jeepster complete body (seats, extra door, hood, fenders, grill, rear gate) and possibly powder coated frame and running gear, engine and transmission, new swamper tires and 5 almost new rims. “1978 AMG JEEP dj5f inline 6 232ci clean title out of DMV system so no back fees this car is complete all original from USPS that means the jeep is RHD! All lights work headlight, dome, brakes, blinkers wipers and Fan works. motor has low miles 55xxx cranks over compression is good previous owner had carb changed I adjusted it and put all vacuum lines on but don’t think I found a reliable source will take to my mechanic soon once I get it running price will go up”

“Up for sale is a Custom, One of a Kind Jeep 1965-1975-1985 DCJ57. It is a CJ7/DJ5 body on a stretched and tubed Grand Wagoneer chassis (Postal Jeep front with right hand drive, Grand Wagoneer chassis stretched with a CJ7 rear end ) I am a welder by trade and designed and built this vehicle from the ground up. It has a 360 cubic inch engine, 4 wheel drive, automatic transmission.
Complete duel ignition systems, V8. Complete water conversion snorkel (exhaust, transmission breather, differential breathers) New rebuilt motor and transmission. Under the car there is 10 cubic feet of storage. There is a deck on top of the vehicle with an overhead awning. Also 360 degree overhead awnings. 110 Converter, Seats 7 people. Asking $29,999 or best offer. Call or email with any questions or for more pictures.”

“1984 DJ-5M postal mail jeep.
2.5 AMC motor, runs great. Torqueflite transmission, shifts great. Saginaw steering box. AMC 20 axle with limited slip diff. New thermostat, brand new tires (less than 50 miles). Clean title in my name, currently registered and can be driven away today. I’d love to keep it but not enough time. Changed the grill to a cj5 grill, but includes original postal jeep grill. Serious interest only, no tire kickers please.”

“Here are the details:
1975 Postal Jeep DJ5D RHD, Chevy 350 V8, 700R4 Automatic Transmission (rebuilt and warrantied), new battery, new all aluminum 3 row radiator with electric cooling fan, new hoses top and bottom, new thermostat, new fuel filter, new tires, new exhaust from manifolds back to single muffler and exhaust pipe, good brakes with extra set of new brake shoes included. Body is rhino lined. Speedometer does not work (no cable from transmission), new temperature gauge.
This is a fun and head turning Jeep. Lots of receipts and paperwork available.”
