This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Up for sale is a nice little postal Jeep. It has a good running chevy 2.4 in it. Automatic, clean title, right side drive. Great little rig for the money. It has some dents and dings, but no major rust. I was going to turn it into a mobile shooting bench since it has rear ambulance doors. Needs a good cleaning, but drive able. Please let me know if you have any questions. Face to face sale only. ”

“Up for sale is our 1983 Postal Jeep DJ5 Dispatcher right hand drive made by AM General. Same company that produced the Hummer and other military vehicles. This is a 2.5L 4 cylinder 150 ci engine with a 904 Chrysler automatic transmission and Detroit Locker rear. This is a 4 X 2 vehicle specifically made for the United States Postal Service. One of the last years the DJ5 was produced.

Engine is running a little rough.
“I have other running jeeps so don’t need this one. This was my daily driver until it failed a smog check. It ran fine until I got it to the smog station, then it started missing a little. I decided not to invest anymore money into it. It still runs but has transmission/oil leak. Currently on non-op with no back fees due. Send me your name and phone number if you’re interested.”

“Fresh paint the tub has absolutely no rust & is lined runs good but won’t go into 3rd gear think shifter forks wore out otherwise great shape $2000 this is the equivalent of a mail jeep but not right hand drive & its 2wd”
