About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
” have a right hand drive mail jeep that runs great. I bought this for my wife and put alot of work into it. She wants something newer. When i bought this it wasn’t running. I had a professional mechanic work on it. It has a new gas tank, sending unit, and filler neck. Along with a new solenoid, and a new electric fuel pump. My favorite new part is the brand new tires. They are the best we could find for a rural route.
I really like driving this jeep. It is alot of fun. It would make a good delivery vehicle, or hunting jeep. It is as durable as you will ever get. It is two wheel drive, but it will go through more than alot of 4×4’s. I’ve tried it. If you have any questions please read contact info under reply.
It has a 4 cylinder amc engine. automatic. No cracks in windshield. all lights work, and heater. newer shocks. Runs and drives good. ”
This doesn’t have a title, but does run and drive.

“I am selling this jeep for my wifes Grandpa.
I am not sure what year it is
It’s a 2×4 with an inline 4 cyl.
Not sure on miles.
Has some broken windows. Pretty sure it runs. Will need some love to get it started. Been a year or two since its been started.
“1975 AMC DJ5 right hand drive
New parts: blower fan, plugs and wires, fuel filter, carburator, battery, lights, ignition module, coil pack, brakes. Good starter vehicle for rural mail routes or fun, economic, daily driver.”
“Rare project with 41,000 original miles. Needs work. It’s missing the front and rear drive shafts, DANA 300 T-case, door panels, drivers glass, dash pad, carb, and a few other misc. items.. The rear door is dented as well as the rear left side of the top. Rusted above rear fenders. I have a new windshield frame and drivers floor pan. Dash, column, and trans are removed but included. Have other front fenders. Motor turns but I have not had it running. This is a right hand drive jeep. I will sale it for the right offer. The last photo is of an original Postal at the Alaska Department of Transportation Museum. Please do not contact me unless you are a serious buyer.”
“1973 Mail Jeep right hand drive, run and drives, up to date tag and insurance, great tires, sliding doors, all lights work. Any questions call or text!”
UPDATE: This is funny. Apparently, the seller has received a number of negative comments (no surprise). So, the seller has threatened to have “your CL privileges revoked if you do these despicable acts“.
You think $29,000 is a lot? It used to be $76,000!!! I tried to find other works by this ‘famous’ designer, but couldn’t find her anywhere but on this ad.
“For sale – a 2003 “Janx” art piece vehicle as titled by the artist and designer. It is constructed of diamond back stainless steel and built for durability, not speed. This is an uncompleted project and being sold “as is”. Its chassis is fabricated solid stainless steel and the small flat bed is meant for groceries and light hauling. This is a project piece for the person that has the time, capital and a lot of passion to invest Looking for a “show stopper”? — This one of a kind project piece would be the Holy Grail for any collection.
The steering box is from a 1978 Postal Jeep. The emergency brake is from a 1978 Postal Jeep and is not assembled and has been chromed. It has Stuart gauges. The steering wheel is Stainless steel. The engine is a straight six with an automatic transmission. The gas tank is Stainless steel. The front and back bumpers are double piping stainless. There are two built in drain holes in Y shapes on the floor and the bed for water drainage. There is a split windshield for 2 separate pieces of glass. There are old tires and rims from a 1979 Postal Jeep. The entire body of this project is of quarter inch thick diamond back stainless steel. It is a very heavy and solid piece of art.
Serious buyers only. Price is firm. By appointment only. Contact via the contact info provided in the listing.
Note – to obnoxious jealous morons – do not flag this listing or send derogatory comments – I will have your CL privileges revoked if you do these despicable acts!”
Not a DJ or an FJ, but some one may be interested in this for mail deliveries.
“Runs like a little demon. Can’t kill these AM General’s 🙂 This one has original everything, decent body, runs great, some rust here and there and has been used at a US Postal Service Center I own. Making room for a new advertising vehicle. This can be converted to a food truck (Ice Cream Van would be cute) or simply a work horse once you tune her up and clean her up a bit. I put the postal logos back and the truck is sold as is with everything on her including the interior guts that the post office equipped her with. To the comedians who think you can buy a car/truck just for the title, you would be wrong. It’s against the law (and it’s fraud) to attempt to title wash a vehicle. You have been blocked from bidding.”
