It needs some parts.

There can’t be many of these available for purchase.
“This auction is for a original Operators Manual for the M676, M677, M678 & M679. Thes are the military versions of the FC170 Jeep that was printed in May of 1964 by Kaiser Jeep Corporation.”
UPDATE: Was $3500. Status Unknown.
“When was the last time you saw one of these ? Original drive train , flat head super 6 / three speed , full time 4×4 , low neutral high transfer case with PTO . Minimal rust , very low on rear cab corners and drivers floor . 7.50/16 deep lug tires , like new. Cool old truck – the only reason it’s for sale is to raise funds for a 46 Chevy COE wrecker project.”
As Craig put it when he forwarded me the link, this is FC Gold. Below is a video of an original Swedish Scania Vabis FC-150AM. Learn more about the existing FC-150 AM at http://www.thefcconnection.com/fc’s_from_norway.htm. Also, look for glimpses of the FC Minibus as well.
As you watch the video, you’ll be able to view the point at which this photo was taken, though the scene of the photo being taken is cut. The photo comes from the book the “Jeepen i Sverige”: http://cj3b.info/Finds/FindsSweden.html (looks like a very interesting book!)
According to Even Erlien, both the FC-150Am and the Volvo c202 were built with specification given by the Swedish Army. The Jeep-Scania got round fenders and the Volvo got square. Here’s a comparison of the two:
Maybe not FC Gold, this video is still pretty neat as well (thanks again to Craig).
UPDATE: **SOLD**
(11/29/2012) I like the company’s logo. Neat truck.
“1957 Willys Jeep FC150. First year made and very hard to find truck. Has the great V6 oddfire engine with less than 2,000 miles since rebuilt. Lots of gears for on/ off road- 3 speed manual transmission, overdrive and then transfer case. In case you are unaware the FC’s are built on same frame as CJ5 so they are not a large truck. Does highway speeds at 65 very nice. Complete drive-train recently gone through and professionally done including transfer case, transmission, overdrive, axles, brakes. Paint in good condition.”
UPDATE: Was $2500. Status Unknown.
“Up for sale is our 1957 Jeep FC170, forward control. This was to be a project for my son and I but the body work is over our head. This truck is highly collectible and complete, everything is here including a new windshield and service manual. This is a 4wd vehicle with locking hubs in the front. The engine is the 6 cylinder with a 4 speed manual transmission and 2 speed Dana Spicer transfer case.
This would make a great father and son project, or can be used for parts. The body is extremely rusty and will need extensive work. I’ve attached as many photos as possible so that you can see everything.
We would consider a trade for something of equal value, possibly another Jeep CJ, Wrangler, Land Cruiser, Trooper, MG, sports car, Triumph, or other 4×4.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.
(01/12/2014) There looks like value here.
“1958 Jeep Willys fc-150 complete not running it has a stake body and part of a plow mount. Call with questions and concerns $1000”
Craig just let me know that he updated “The Textbook Restoration of a M-677” at TheFCConnection. This looks like a great build!
