“Up for auction are Two EXTREMELY RARE original Kaiser JEEP M-676s (Military version of the Jeep FC-170) built only one year for the Marine Corp and delivered in 1964. These are becoming harder and harder to find because only about 65 were estimated to have been built.

The first M676 ( Red ) Is a complete survivor and mostly original except for being painted red many year ago ,the red is starting to peel off which exposes the original Marine Corp olive drab green under the red. It also has the military wooden bench seats in the back of the bed, I did replaced all of the wood on the left side bench which will need painting.  The Cerlist diesel engine is stuck causing the vehicle to be in a non-running condition at this time I do not know any history of it. It will need the cab corners and wiring repaired or replaced also has side windows cracked, there are only one set of front seats frames available and will need be reupholstered.  As any restoration project goes it takes time to complete.  It comes with a clear title and military tags. I do not have the time or resources to finish this rare and really cool piece of Marine Corp History.

The Second M676 (Brown) is the parts truck which is only has the cab, frame, front and rear differentials.  The cab and doors are in really great shape, unfortunately the back of the cab was cut and the windshield is smashed, and it is also missing the Cerlist engine and transmission/transfer case and other parts. It does not have a title or military tags since it is the parts truck.”

These are even harder to find than the M-677s”

“1959 Willy’s FC150 with title. Runs and drives. Still needs some work here and there but overall a very nice example of this classic little truck. I have owned this for several years and have countless hours into the restoration. My intent was to leave it in some patina with a stout look. Here is a list of things I have done.

Rebuilt corners and windshield frame ( rust repair)
New floors and door sills
New wire harness, built from scratch with fuse block, shrink wrapped and in woven loom
Frame cleaned and painted.
New brake lines
Add-a-leaf 2” lift
New suspension bushings
All new steering arms, tie rods and pitman drop bracket.
New shocks
New rear bumper
New tail lights
New hand made fenders
New bed sides
Color matched spray on bed liner
Electric fan with shroud
New switches
New clutch and seals in transmission
New bell crank
Front auxiliary lights
New windshield seal (professional installation)
New 33×10.50 BFG Mud Terrains-4
Cleaned gas tank
New fuel lines

I have many original parts that still need to be cleaned and installed to include glove box, heater box, windshield wipers seat frames and more. All the lights work, including the rare turn signal switch. The dash was painted in base-clear before assembly. The interior dog house, roof and doors need to be painted. I have an original interior door panel for a pattern. There is much more I’m sure. Please, serious inquires only.

In full disclosure, it has been in storage and now has a backfire. I may get to looking at it and tune it, but I may not.”

Garage Sale Various Jeeps .. Unclear If Any Are Left

Thanks to Nick for spotting this garage sale. It occurred last weekend, but maybe some jeeps remain. The FC has potential. The yellow DJ-3A appears to have been a cargo loader.

Year? FC-150 Youngsville, NC … relisted

• CATEGORIES: FC150-FC170-M677 This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: Now listed here: http://www.ewillys.com/2021/05/31/year-fc-150-youngsville-nc-4000/

Chris stopped to see this FC (equipped with a rear PTO and gearbox) and provided the following review:

“I looked at this today (12/27/19):
– The floors are rotting through.
– The drawbar is welded on.
– Some exterior parts are missing from the cab.
– Strangely has FC170 nameplates on the cab corners but it is definitely a wide-track FC150 with the F-134.
– Lots of body repairs with riveted panels
– No title, no governor, no bed, no other parts except what you see.
– The PTO was obviously added later as the shifter is outside the cab.
– The transfer case shift levers are all missing (mount is still there).
-Gentleman selling says it has not ran in probably 10 years but that he used to use it to mow a field.”

“This is a Forward Control Jeep turned into a tractor. It has beefed up springs, a rear Power Take-Off with an agri splined shaft, and an electric fan to enhance cooling at slow speeds. Has not run in years, tires are shot. Would make a great enclosed cab mower, or could be fitted with a backhoe.”
