About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
UPDATE II: Still Available. This has rust in the cab corners and a sprung drivers door. There also no mechanicals for the boom.
UPDATE: Dan found a photo of this FC from years ago:

“i have a rare 57 willys jeep forward control fc 150 narrow track flat bed and a early 60s fc 170 flatbed and a spare parts cab. both are projects the 150 has rust corners are rusted out which is typical for these old trucks also above the windshield and in lower skins of doors. the 150 was running about a year ago and i would drive it around the neighbor hood until the master cylinder started to fail so i parked it originaly bought a spare cab for it to swap then i found the 170 which has a lot better cab has lots of surface rust but not rusted through like the 150 except small spots on back corners has original 226 flat head 6 was told it was rebuilt but last owner left the spark plugs out of it and drain plug out of the oil pan and after several years it is stuck. i have the pink slip on the 150 and is on non op the 170 will have bill of sale, as far as i know it is out of the dmv system last owner said it was parked for around 20 years. im asking 10k obo for both trucks and spare cab that is missing doors. id love to keep and do full restorations on these cool trucks but no longer have the room or funds to do anything with them. i can get pictures in a few days”
“1962 Jeep FC-170 pickup. Runs and drives well. I bought it just a few weeks ago with plans for a major off-road build-up, but found another one at a better starting point for what I’m doing – this one is set up perfectly for someone who wants excellent bones for restoration that’s already a good driver. Frame is totally solid. Priced at what I bought it for. Just can’t afford to have more than one around right now.
Has the 226 cu in Super Hurricane engine with T90 transmission (3-speed on the floor) and D18 transfer case. In the last two years has had – replaced rims, tires, muffler, pistons, rings, radiator, plastic gas tank (original tank is included but has a leak if you want to restore), wheel cylinders for brakes, painted, vac wipers work! Side windows each have a crack, but they’re flat glass and very easy to replace. Windshield and rear window are good. Extra windshield included. Clear NJ title.”
No title. Bill of sale only. Previous owner was given this truck by his father who owned it for over 20 years as a farm truck. The title was lost.
Not running. Rough shape but a good project. No truck bed, gas tank or fenders. Transmission is a manual but is in pieces as the previous owner was going to rebuild it. Engine is in vehicle, hanging from a chain and board to keep it in position. This truck is mostly disassembled in boxes. Steering column has been removed but still connected to gear box. Heater box is still connected but not wired or hooked up. No glass in the truck but new rear glass is included.”
“V6 hurricane runs great and drives. Manual trans 3 spd with hi/lo lever. Original equipped PTO for dump. Needs interior work and minor body work, NOTHING structural.
Currently working on it. Price is firm now and will go up as work progresses.
Only 1546 made in 1959. Very few left and even fewer with original drivetrain.
Parts are easily obtainable since frame is same as Jeep CJ.”
“Ran about 5 years ago, never registered it and I lost the registration for it but should be easy enough to get again. I’ve got a transferable registration from a 55 Willys if you feel like going that route.
It’s a 3spd manual 4×4 jeep fc170 with a hurricane strait 6 and plow. Has the normal wear and tear for an fc170, has some serious rust in the cab corners and drivers side door but other than that it’s a pretty strait and solid vehicle. Floor pans are pretty good, rockers and rain guards could use some attention. All glass is good, frame is spot on.”
“1961 jeep fc150, 1979 gm 4.3 v6 conversion run & drives, new master CyLinder, wheel cylinder kits lines, fuel tank cleaned & repaired, carb kit installed, Ramsey pto winch in bed. Has not been tagged since 1991 have title. Good restoration project”
