About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
For $1500, there could be some value here in parts.

“We have had our FC150 at the farm doing work since we purchased it 5 years ago. I once heard somebody describe the FC150 as a “Tractor with a cab and heater”! This is a very accurate statement! This Jeep truly goes anywhere! I have never had it stuck or even struggle thru our deep ravines and hills! But over the last year we haven’t used it as much as we use to and decided its time to sell.
The Jeep appears to have its original engine which runs great! It starts easily if you start it every day or two but if you leave it sit for a week or so then it takes a little primer (a shot of carb cleaner) to get it started. It shifts thru all four gears with no issues and idles well. A tune up was done about a year ago which consisted of new plugs, oil and carburetor rebuild. I also removed and cleaned the fuel tank and replace the fuel pump and filter. I am not sure what the top speed of the vehicle is but my guess would be 40 -45 mph. The 4 wheel drive works great! It has the lock out hubs but I have never switched them and assume they work.
All hydraulics work great! The pump is powered by a PTO which is activated by a hand pull. The winch works great( I have never been stuck but stretched the cable out and rewound it by pulling the jeep backwards). The snow plow moves up and down smoothly but I have never had a blade on it. And of course the custom diamond plate dump bed works awesome! I have loaded the back end full of red oak-drove out of the woods-backed up to my wood pile and dumped the entire contents with no problems! Continue reading →
Craig spotted this one. He thinks he’s seen it at a past Willys Picnic.
“This a running and driving truck. Has a factory add on dump bed. Original drive train and fun truck. As any truck of this age it needs some work but not a complete rust bucket like most. Brand new tires. Clean title. No Trades.”
“Up for sale is a 1955 Willy’s pickup truck.
I acquired the rig in southern Idaho 2 years ago and have been working on it on and off since. This rig was previously in Colorado so it has been in dry climates most of its life. I bought it a a restoration and to use as a around town work truck but ended up getting something newer so its up for grabs.
It is tabbed and platted in Washington.
I have done a lot on this truck, last time I started it a few months ago it ran drove and stopped.
The body is really solid, its got a few dents and dings but is actually in amazing condition for its age. The bed is a 6’8” x8′ dumping flatbed. Dump hydrolics run off of PTO, engine is early to mid 60’s gmc 283 small block v8. T18 transfer t90 tranny. It comes with a 8k lb Ramsey work winch that is currently mounted in the bed. Paint is good in some area and fading in others it might be the original paint job. All lights and signals work. This rig has a 3\4 ton payload Continue reading →
Looks like a fine price. Not perfect, but seems like a perfect entry level jeep for someone.

(01/11/2011) This might not be a bad price. It has an unusual tilt front clip.
“I’m selling a ’68 CJ5. It has a Chevy small block (350) and a Muncie M21 transmission. It has manual brakes and steering. It runs, but it I think the carb needs adjustment. The clutch pedal is stiff because the linkage is binding up. The hood flips forward which make it easy to access the motor. (I think it was an old military jeep M38 A1.) It has a few dents and some rust. It comes with a roll bar. I don’t know much about the suspension, but it has brand new rims and BF Goodrich tires. It’s a nice little project Jeep. $1700 or best offer.”
“A unique hydraulic dump body jeep conversion, also comes equipped with a 6′ plow blade. New shocks and master cylinder. Has NYS registration. Please email with a phone number I can contact you with. Thanks for looking.”
