Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Here’s an unusual Willys ambulance brochure in French.
“Original Willys Ambulance folder brochure. Covers MIL-NER model 475 (4WD). Brochure is in French language ONLY. NO English. Measures about 8-1/2″ x 11″. Used Condition. Shows wear, stains.”

Late 40s brochure based on one of the drawings, which has bumper gussets and the CJ-2A-type transfer case crossmember.

“JEEP WILLYS 1950s dealer brochure – French – Canada – ST501000818”
Canadians Kurt Luchia and his father Perry, who was suffering from Parkinson’s, rebuilt a 1956 CJ-3B. This past summer (2018) Kurt drove it from Melfort to Moose Jaw, Canada (355 KM), to raise $3550 for Parkinson’s research. You can read the article here:

Jim shared this magazine advertisement featured in the August 1973 issue of Four Wheeler Magazine.
For comparison, two years earlier, in 1971, this ad below was published in PNW4WDA Region 1 directory.
A 1970 Four Wheeler article that introduced the Bobcat body to folks outside the Pacific Northwest featured this logo, which was used in both ads above.

William Wilson, Little Rock, Arkansas, a jeep driver in the 10th Corps, starts the long, hard task of scooping the snow from his jeep by hand. “1943 Press Photo Patrol Jeep Checks Out With Guard Before Leaving Pigeon Key, FL. This is an original press photo. To the U.S. Coast Guard falls the task of guarding Florida’s overseas highway, which links Key West, site of a naval operating base, with the mainland. at Pigeon Key, midway on the 7-mile bridge, is a Coast Guard patrol base. Here a jeep on patrol checks out with the guard before leaving the base. Photo measures 10 x 8.5 inches. Photo is dated 3-16-1943.”
The “Just a Car Guy” website featured fire fighting jeeps in a “European Fire Fighting jeeps” post (at least some of which came from the CJ-3B Page).

Another interesting item in the 1957 Berg’s Truck and Parts Co (Aka the King of Jeeps) Catalog was this “Jeep King” hardtop advertisement, for both half and full-size tops. It looks like it’s a private branding of the Beck (or Kemco) Jeep Cabs, because the door has the split window. As far as I know, that wasn’t available on the Kelly hardtops manufactured by Kelly Manufacturing (which is the company Kemco became).Also, the Kemco had the small window on the half cab, as does the Jeepking half cab.
