Seems to be a mix of parts.
“Engine runs but will need attention, it’s been sitting for many years. The brakes were gone through recently.”

This project has a stuck transmission.
“Solid and straight Ford script body with a strong engine and new brakes. Transmission is stuck and will need to be removed for repair.”
It has a GPW frame, but some CJ parts.
“Ok, so a 1945 willys jeep. She is in rough shape, but perfect for rebuilding or making that hot rod you always wanted. It has a GPW frame made by ford, meaning its a WII frame, and a CJ2A body(civilian) model. Motor is in good shape and spins freely. As you can see i have already torn her down for rebuild, and i have the Manuel. I also have a clean TX title. Let me no. Nothing like having a piece of history in your garage! Asking 2500. Frame is rare folks, priced to sell quick! ”
Looks to have an overdrive.

“Selling a 1944 Ford Jeep with a Model T pickup bed trailer. We don’t use it anymore and it’s only taking up space. It runs just fine though at some point it’ll need a new master brake cylinder and radiator. We also put in seat belts to make it street legal. It comes with a removable top. Need to sell quickly as wife is running out of patience.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
This is an early GPW (#4997).

(11/12/2014) It’s been in the family for a while.
“It is not a stock motor… I do know it’s a V6. I have the top frame.. Seen in the photos leaning next to the jeep on the right.
The radiator hose is off and the fan is off. It needs a battery and fan belt, radiator hoses. Plus it looks like the passenger side wheel bearing is leaking and needs repaired.
My dad had a mechanic working on it. My dad past away. The mechanic told me he did get it running. I am not able to check it myself.
One side is cracked on the windshield. I am asking $7500. I will accept the best offer I get.
It is located in Oakridge. It is inside out of the weather. It has been kept inside
since my dad got it over 40 years ago.
If you’d like to make an appointment to take a look you can reach me on my cell. I will return your call if you leave a message.”
Includes an extra motor.
“Gwp tub, overhead 4cyl, speed manual trans, locking hubs, rear safari seat, registered & runs good, comes with extra rebuilt Gwp flathead engine!”
UPDATE: Was $5000.
It’s a project.
“Early 1942 Ford “Script” Jeep to restore. Super original & rare to find, it’s been sitting outside, sad to say. The tub is pretty rough but repairable and the frame is in really good condition to restore. I have an L-head core motor and a core T-84 transmission plus some other GPW parts from other restorations. No transfer case. The correct Dana 25 front and Dana 23 rear is original and both roll really smoothly. This a once in a lifetime find and if restored properly will fetch upwards of $30,000. Personally, I hate to do it but I want to finish restoring my M38A1. AS-IS with a Bill of Sale only.
Open to trades and will deliver for additional cost.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $5000
(08/09/2014) This GPW has some mods.
“I have an 90% completed 1945 Ford GPW (Willys) jeep for sale. I’ve been working on this jeep for the past 2 years and brought it back to life with a new paint job and engine work. It has a 289 V-8 out of a mustang that has been cleaned up with new gaskets and a thorough cleaning. Lot’s of new parts including all new wiring and gauges! Needs just a few more things before this can be back on the road; it needs exhaust pipes, the driveshafts need to be shortened or replaced and I haven’t looked at the brakes so I don’t know how they are but the jeep has new brake line installed.
The engine runs!! I’ve ran the engine for 20 minutes straight to see if the pressure and temperature gauges work and they do. Come on over if you want to check it out. I need my garage space back!
You’ve got to see this jeep, it’s almost ready for the road! I have the pink slip but the jeep hasn’t been registered since 1997, my plan was to have it as a recreational vehicle only…. I also have the Chilton’s Manual and the driveshafts that are included.”
