Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. 1942 Ford Jeep, nearly complete restoration – only lacks markings. All original, numbers match. Very little corrosion. New battery, just rebuilt carburetor and generator. Runs great! Location: South Alabama

stin forwarded this unusual item. Some defrosting units were used during WWII, though those were 12 volt. They vary in price from $35 to over $100 depending on condition and completeness.
“Defroster kit that attaches to windshield and has a switch that mounts under dash and a fuse protector. 12-Volt.
Made by Durkee-Atwood Co.
It comes in the original green metal box
